That twist when the crab fight is just an hallucination. No wonder there is a Fox corpse. It's nothing but a battle in the mind. I didn't notice the Polar Bear body! At Angelo fight, you didn't become a fish, you become a boss! The Mayor is the only human know to the Jungle.
Ah, I see I was a lot closer to escaping than I thought considering how late I started working on the escape route. I likely would've failed one of the two combat checks at the end though.
Quick tip! You can skip Angelo's fight by moving the camera all the way to the right and turning the spotlight to the left. The spotlight will blind him, raising your odds of avoiding the crossbow bolt and if you get the strength check, the camera will knock him out.
I did find that out after playing through a second time when I was looking for all the escape routes, which makes more sense as the game is very good at giving alternate options. I guess in my haste I just overlooked all the things you can interact with. As well if you switch the camera to the third feed your bluff to get the gorilla to leave is much easier.
@@CrankyTemplar Yep, I found out because I kept losing the fight and thought I was softlocked. I will also add if you fail the dice roll on the camera, the spotlight will still lower Angelo/Kong's hit chance on the first few turns of the fight
26:30 Red: ''I'd like to think that the last thing that went through the Mayor's head, other than those handcuffs, was to wonder how the hell Thomas the Fox ever got the best of him.''
amongst others yeh, there's subtle references to almost every char, walter is the chemist from breaking bad, pickman the iguana is inspired by HP Lovecraft's pickman model, Hukuna the warthog from the Lion King, Perry the platypus well from Perry the Platypus, etc
Yeah, you need to examine the pipe by the machines and do the sliding puzzle before Thomas will dig. If you try to do the sliding puzzle at night without a light source (I think the alcohol lamp might work but going to test later today) then Thomas says it's too dark to check it out.
No, they plan to add his section with the full release. They're planning to first fix stuff with Thomas' route and add more locations/escape routes beforehand.
Hey! I've only started playing this game yesterday. Just want to ask, how do you add exp to your Charisma? I'm growing other stats fast but not Charisma.
Listening to inmate conversations and i think every time a conversation is involved. also there are posters you can trade from inmates that grant you exp for that specific trait, exp while you sleep in your cell.
Billy sells the charisma poster that gives 10XP per hour of sleep, which usually nets between 70-80XP per night if you sleep before midnight. There's a food sold at lunch that gives 100XP. Getting Juicy Gossip to overhear conversations lets you sell the intel and gives 5XP in different stats (often charisma). From my experience Charisma and Agility are usually the hardest ones to directly level, although for Agility you at least can pick weeds each day and once you get the fishbowl you can train with that. Bonding with Chris the Lynx will let you do Charisma practice at your cell's mirror (I never did that so I'm not sure how effective it is). Chris loves paper cranes (the normal ones) and you need 10 charisma (normally or via buffs) to bond. Perry's upgraded bond perk gives 20% extra XP for however much XP you have in each stat at the start of the day (the base version also does this with your current money). This gets applied after the poster XP. Perry's perk is one of the most OP ones in the game. He also loves yogurt and only takes $200 to bond with.
I usually do the rabbit speed in the mailroom which gets $60 for 30 mins if you do it perfect. If your INT is high enough (like with myopia glasses and boosted bookworm through the library) to the point you can record the mail in one roll you can spend ~15mins and get $30 plus Int XP. I think cooking in the kitchen gives the highest payback if done right but I haven't tried it yet. Juicy Gossip lets you sell up to 10 conversations to the barbershop at an amount equal to charisma, so using scented soap and wearing a bandana/punk glasses can boost the earnings. Jimmy's upgraded bond perk gives you $50-90 every morning (and is applied before Perry's 20% money boost perk). Signing up for a boxing match and winning gives $300. It's very hard to beat Joseph on Day 3 but the later contenders you can usually be better prepared for. I think every fighter also sits alone on the day of their match so you can spike their food with a laxative to have an easier time fighting them. I'm hoping to do some guides for this game as there's a lot of things folks have questions about.
It's from the handheld game Dracula's Fury. The basic perk heals you per the number of bleed stacks. The improved perk (which you get from bonding with Robert) has the heal also increase your max HP for the fight.
Bond with Phil to learn how to make them. He loves yogurt. His bonding task is to get a blessing from the priest (make a donation and request a blessing) and bond with him while you have the buff.
After befriending you need 99 rapport to bond. You'll then get the bond perk and he'll become a friend with 0 rapport. Get it to 100 this time and you can upgrade the perk.
It is possible which is one way to get the code to her office (and you can trade rapport for medicine). If her rapport is high enough she'll show up in the good ending in the hospital.
