who is Aileen Lawlor?
In the world of Flow Arts, Aileen Lawlor is an artist whose name has remained synonymous with Contact Staff for over 15 years. After training as an actor in NYC, she developed a fervent curiosity to learn from the world and a love for expression of self through movement, which is how she came into the world of Flow Arts.
She was first recognized for contributing her unique, original style to contact staff dance and performance through her solo routines and videos. This made her a highly sought-after performer & teacher for events in New Zealand, Indonesia, Ukraine, Philippines, England, Malaysia, the US, and Europe. For the last 6 years, her main focus has been sharing the joy of contact staff technique and dance with people of all ages through group classes & private lessons.
She has taught Contact Staff in 16 different countries, and remained active during the pandemic by offering her group & private lessons online to reach flow artists in places like Chile, the UK and Dubai.
