In this final chapter, Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) obtains a 70-year-old message from the time-traveling Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd), in which he informs Marty that he has retired to a small town in the Old West. Marty then finds out that the Doc was murdered shortly after sending the letter. In order to save his friend, Marty will have to travel back in time, disentangle a lovestruck Doc from a local schoolmarm, and repair the DeLorean -- all while avoiding a posse of gunslingers.

Hard to believe he was able to escape capture for so long. I guess Hill Valley doesn't have many bounty hunters. For all the people he claims to have murdered he probably had a significant price on his head.

A realization just came to me about a year ago while rewatching this movie. Doc died on September 7. This scene is on the 5th. Tannen says that it took two whole painful days for the last guy he shot with that gun to die. I think this is the date and event were doc was originally shot and it took him exactly two days to die just like the other guy which would be on the 7th.

I think it's because Biff thought he was so violent that he was invincible and that everyone else was too scared to try and stop him. It actually kinda was like that. Except Marshall Strickland stood up to him, although Tannen even got the better of him the next day in a deleted scene where he shot and killed Strickland. I used to wonder why another marshall and not Strickland was the one who arrested Tannen in that last scene, that was before I knew about the deleted scene where he killed Strickland.

Clara’s a mature adult. She’s old enough to care for herself. It would have been more of a problem if she was under 19 years old, but 33 is well past the age where the human brain is fully mature and fully developed...so Clara and Doc would be perfectly fine as a couple.
