Use the settings on the right to customize your button. Once you've styled your back to button the way you like, navigate to the code tab and paste the CSS in your Custom CSS area, and the HTML & Javascript into your Site Footer Code Injection area.

I realize I'm going to have to upgrade to a business plan even though I don't need it but in order to do the code injection I am going to have no choice. But thank you so much for this because this was awesome.

Hi will, I am trying this in the 7.1 version of squarespace however the advanced menu is gonne. I tried adding a "code" block to my footer. And it does appear but only in the last like 5% of the site. (Yes I've double checked the scroll up setting. Idk if the code has some error or im being a noob. I'd appriciate some assistance, then again I am sure you have your hands full. Thanks for all the work you put in :)!

Hey, Squarespace have changed their menu structure, the Code Injection can now be found by going Settings > Developer Tools > Code Injection

Is there a way to make this work for Personal plans? Personal plans can't use Code Injection or Javascript.

Yup, put the JavaScript code in a “Markdown” Block in one of your footer sections.

@@will-myers Thanks for responding! I pasted the HTML and Javascript code into a Markdown Block in my footer section, but oddly enough, it works perfectly fine when I'm editing my footer. Once I save, the button gets stuck in my footer. Am I doing it wrong?

I hope squarespace gave you some kind of compensation Will! Cause it seems as if they made not possible to use your great code / pluggin - unless users paid that extra benjamin per year.
