Got our concrete trailer pump back. New system and everything. Back to line pumping concrete on a regular basis. Felt good to get out and get some concrete pumping through our veins.
Glad u got it back and it's working making money! Nice hose! Man that must have been fun dragging hose in that mudd, I guess that is where is get MUDDY FEET!
Another good video... Pump looks like it is no worse-for-wear ... looks like it pumped that rocky mud with little trouble ... well that was shown 🤔. New hose 😱 OMG I've NEVER even seen new hose😱. those must be so light weight 😂 with no extra concrete caked on them...😂 ... "I know better" .... Happy to see you working Ye Ol' XKP (escapee) pump after its short walkabout.
i know ive commented about it before, but I am absolutely baffled you get that through 3"!!! i think we'd even be puckering a bit trying to pump that through 4". good seeing the trailer pump back in action, the little mistakes, chalk it up to its been a while, no harm no foul (except maybe a few paint scuffs) 2 hours with a chipping gun and wire wheel you'll have that hopper looking good as new again
Happy that you have the pump back working I hope that you find out who took it and was running it because they Left the pump where they did because you had so many eye's out looking for it and it was to HOT for them to use.
I see you got some nice new hoses Mudfoot... If theres not a new power screed sitting on the job site tomorow morn, I quit... My days of bending over srceeding our over!! lol
great Job man! is the Mortar Mix the only thing you use to don't get the hoses clogged? it was really impress that all that rock go throw the 3" hoses with out clogging the lines .
Curious the mortar mix you poured in the elbow. Guessing you use that as a primer/hose slick? Never seen any of my pump guys do that Also what’s the info on your hose supplier you spoke of in the video? Gonna need a supplier for 2” & 1.5” hose here in a few months. Thanks
A nice little trick/idea is to cut your concrete bag iafter emptying into the bucket, and spread the empty bag under your 5gl bucket while yur mixing it so any 'splishy splashy' doesn't get wherever you don't want it to go..👍🙂👍.. ((Or just do your mixing in a area where it dont matter if you have some 'splishy splashy'
Dang , looks a lot better coming out the hose than it does going in the hopper. Sand shortage or what? lol Good thing like you say ya got the 3 inch hose.
Sup bud.... Running late here.... 1000's of things to do and winter is here .... snowing heavy tonight ... tried to get the 9K but the power steering would not let the front wheels turn. might need to have it hauled home. I'll try pull starting it again once the storm is over and the roads are dryer.
Return of the trailer pump back into service!!! Bet you are pleased you got that one purged through, just remember next time to ensure the pump is correctly secured to the pick up 🤷♂️🤦♂️🤣 Good you spread your business across different suppliers, Seracuse is not quite round the corner from you !!!! Annual inspections are worth the effort, can pick up and rectify any faults found. Of course, that boils down to having a good engineer looking over the pump !!! 👍
Not necessarily a pro tip but from what I experienced, add a bag or 2 of morder instead of water. If you add water do it with the drum stopped and mud at the hopper then mix it.. sometimes the cream is at the head of the drum
Here in Vegas we charge 1st truck $550 and a $100 every other truck after that. So second truck would be $650. It’s open market so I’m not afraid to say what I charge. If you do good business, people will use you.
Yes I agree. But if go and tell people on the internet I’m charging $XXX.00 for a 4 hour minimum each additional hour $XXX.00. X.00 a yard pumped $X.00 a foot over 100’ and a 10% fuel surcharge I’ll have every Tom Dick and Harry that think they are capable of running a pump piling into my area. I already have some lug nut out of Missouri using my company name.
@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping I got what your saying. Well hopefully that guy in Missouri runs his truck and equipment into a wall and loses all his shit, that’ll fix the problem.
That was probably a bill for all the hose and support tools. You must be an understanding fellow to accept a load of river gravel to pump. Yeah i know we got to get along with vendors but I wouldn't be happy.
@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping Did not know that, I used a manage a hydraulic hose and fitting store down the street and would use them from time to time for larger industrial hose that we didn’t carry in our stock.
"Pumpty - Dumpty"....is back ? Pumpty - Dumpty sat on a wall... Along came a robber..who thought he was a jobber, never to see Pumpty again.. All the Kings men, and all the King's horses couldn't find Pumpty at all... Then one day...what do you say...a lone jobber gave Pumpty a place to stay.. Now Pumpty - Dumpty is back to stay....all work and no play... Steve the Contractor in NC
What third world country is that, not using distance holders for the rebar, not bringing in gravel as bearing layer and not using pu foil for the entire pouring area?!
@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping best in the west has their own you tube channel look them up out of California it ain’t me lol 😂 you might learn something 👍
