Hi Kopp Records! Thanks for watching and those kind words. I really appreciate it even though I'm slow at responding. That second Blossom Toes is worth giving a listen. Take care! Nico
Hi Nico, nice to see you again and I'm always happy when a new NicoMalcolm video drops, you always get an education and usually get to see some new obscured psych/prog releases that I've never seen or heard before, I agree, my favorite RU-vid channels have been a little more inactive lately, but so have I on watching youtube, just not enough channels like yourself, deadwax66 and the hogs ear report to keep me interested, totally agree on the Blossom Toes, I have the reissue of Bliss, it's pretty good, those Jeronimo releases have been high on my want lists for years, never come across them for a good price. Great video, thanks for sharing, you always bring the top shelf.. Cheers ✌
Hey Lonny! I'm so sorry for my belated answer! I have been really lazy on this whole youtube thing. It's good to take some time off line sometimes. Thanks for dropping by and the kind words! Yeah, The Hogs Ear Report is definitely one of my favourites. It's a shame really that Randy doesn't make videos anymore. I miss his streams as well. Take care buddy! Nico
@@NicoMalcolm I've had the same issue, You Tube hasn't been a priority for me lately, plus a lot of my favorite channels either quit making videos or doing the same as us,, LOL , Loved your last video, super happy on that Cargo find, I'm filled happiness and envy at the same time hahaha Take care Nico and cheers. Lonny
Greatings, it is always a pleasure to see that you have a new video out :). Bliss and return to Bliss are well worth picking up. As well as the third Alice album Killer with their best track Halo of filés. ❤️ from 🇸🇪
Nico! How have you been? I feel really bad for not getting to your channel sooner, great to see you. You are correct about the Bliss LP, that band is from my home town. I much more prefer Bliss 2, It has almost the same cover art. It is a previously unreleased album recorded about the same time. My favorite Spirit Lp is the debut from 1967. Nice mono Who, a grail for sure. Just love the mono mix, I do have a scarce US mono copy. I take it it you did not get the poster? The US copies came with no poster. The first Alice Cooper is my favorite of theirs. If you can locate the live 1969 Whiskey a Go Go Lp, get it. Great sound on that. Now on to the next video I missed. Ron
Hey Ron! So good to hear from you. How's everything? Don't feel bad about not getting to my channel sooner. I'm not very active these days and not very motivated for making videos. Also I'm slow at responding to comments. You know, life gets in the way and all that. Thanks for the recommendation on Bliss 2. I will check it out. I have heard the live Alice Cooper album you mention. I have it on my wantlist. It's a shame not all of the tracks from their first LP is on that one, because the sound is very good indeed. Take care Ron!
Hey Steve and sorry for my belated answer! Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment. Yeah, I really dig Pretties for you. It's an overlooked psych gem. Take care! Nico
Great to see you again. Been meaning to catch the new Bliss reissue. We'll see if that falls through, I kind of feel the same way you do about it. Early Alice was a huge inspiration for me to indulge into psych as a teen. There's a UK hard rock gem I've been wanting for a while now, but the sellers aren't returning my questions I have before I purchase them. Aggravating!
@@NicoMalcolm I think I had to contact another seller for Little Free Rock which I got 4 months ago now haha. Sometimes I message 2-3 sellers till someone finally wants to send photos.
Hi Nico, nice to see you again. Many great stuff that I have on my want list for a while. Really surprised about your comments on early Alice Cooper. Definitely need to check these 2 albums out. Latest Alice Cooper is more known to me, there are some good songs but nothing mind blowing in my view. Take care my friend. Olivier
Hey Olivier! I'm really sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I have taken some time off RU-vid which has been good. Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Yeah, I'm late to the Alice Cooper universe and I do love especially that first album Pretties For You. I only need their three first albums and I'm done. Take care buddy! Nico
Totally agree on Blossom Toes. I can’t stand the silliness of some British stuff. We Are Ever So Clean is a pretty annoying album to me. Nowhere near the likes of Tomorrow or something. Yes, youtube has been pretty dead lately. The great channels of a couple years ago are pretty inactive. Can’t blame them-it’s quite the chore making videos. Hard to always find the enthusiasm. Anyways, great stack and showing as usual.
Hey Trevor! Sorry for my belated answer. I do love British psych, but can't stand the "humour" and vaudevillesque tunes a la McCartney. I think Blossom Toes first album has a couple of great tunes but it's over all hurt by the "humour" aspect. Their second is much better. Are you coming back to youtube anytime soon? Take care! Nico
