Appreciate the approach you’re taking and have watched each video as soon as released. Skorpius with a 1500g/1600g ski?? Shops keep telling me a 1000g boot can’t drive the skis.

I seriously disagree. The Skorpius is just over 1000 grams and I use it to drive the Tempo Ski (1800 grams) the pair works wonderfully.

How's the instep height on the Skorpius? I have a big ol' instep, hard to find lighter boots that will work...

What is the difference between the Skorpius II and the Solar II. I read the descriptions on the La Sportiva site and there's not really a clear distinction. They also both weigh about the same.

The Skorpius is a bit more aggressive for the skiing

What do you think about stock? are they good to go as they are, or some mods need to be done? I have tlt6 carb. and replaced liners and did powerstrap as well. With modes they felt exactly like Lasportiva Specter.

I rock both right out the box. I have to size down on the vanguard however because my foot is slightly narrow and that boot has a wider last.
