Matt is a great teacher. He'll be at a few in-person events this summer (Acadia Trad Week, Goderich Celtic Roots Festival, O'Flaherty Retreat). And he's always showing some great ideas during our monthly Virtual Guided Session (third Saturday of the month livestream, 2pm Boston time). If you have specific tutorials you're hoping for, we can try to get a few new Matt vids up!
Hello Matt and Shannon ! Thanks a lot for all the tutorials and sessions. I learn a lot ! About the capo, I’d like to know which one you’re using, coz’ I’ve got one (the « Quick Draw » one), but it tends to wear out in the long run. But yours seems cool ! thank you ! Seb, from France
Hi, Seb - Matt uses Paige capos. He prefers those to the quick draw, because you can adjust the tension more precisely. Obviously can't slide them around quickly, though.
Very helpful. Some more condensed, or perhaps indexed on the description videos might make these more broadly accessible. Separating out the videos where you need to describe fingerings step by step versus some where you more expediently go through the options for those comfortable with the inversions and fingerings would help cut down the length.
