As someone who regularly plays along to bass backing tracks, this one has been my ALL TIME favorite.

Thanks! The longer the better :) But I wanted it to be in a 'classic' song format...

I had great fun jamming to this, what an awesome hobby you have, making these sweet, sweet tracks, all on a computer! Très bien, mon ami! (If that's grammatically correct)

Thanks a bunch, It's because i heard somewhere that you could also say "Très bon" instead, and I decided to play it safe, haha!

This is amazing! Were these computer generated sounds or actual instruments? Would love to know the software you used to do this
@MrOverdriveMusic

Most of the parts are real instruments in a collection of samples from Big Fish Audio. Sometimes I added a few recorded guitars of my own, and some clavinet plug-in (LogicAudio D6). I have arranged all of them (cut/edit) in the last version of Logic Audio 5.5 for Windows! Before Emagic Logic was bought by Apple and became an exclusive Mac software :) A long time ago! You're welcome, have fun.

Hi...Great track! Is it in the key of Em7 or E7?
@MrOverdriveMusic
@MrOverdriveMusic 4 года назад
Thanks! The best answer to your question is that it's in an ambiguous key of E7, where you can often play the G note considered as a #9 (but not a minor third). You can hear the G note played by many instruments all along the track... Hope it's clear :)

Great backing! Who played the horns?

Thanks for the comment! I guess the horns were played by musicians, in the studio :)
