Do you spin it backwards when you sharpen it ? Also is it ment to hit that metal part you can use a allen key on when sharpening and also cutting the grass
Hello :) Yes the reel is spun backwards. Do you mean the bottom blade/bedknife? Yes it is meant to touch that ever so slightly. I usually back it off completely so there is no contact and then adjust it to be JUST touching, grind for a bit, tighten it slightly and grind more. Repeat that process until I am happy or bored haha :) Hope this helps
