I'm bingeing crochet videos for absolutely no reason but THIS DRESS?!?! Absolute wearable art, I'm obsessed! Idk where the pattern went but please maam I'm begging you to put it back on the site by the time I learn to crochet well enough to make it, I'll start now 😭
I just wanted to say. I FINISHED ITTT. I bought the pattern and after a few errors I finished it wholly in 4 days. WHOOP WHOOP. I’ve only been crocheting for about 7 weeks so this is totally beginner friendly as long as you know the basic stitches.
Just showed it to my grandgirls, one is in collage and the other in high school they are loving it and it's a hit with them. They've already picked out there yarn. Thank you sharing ❤
Incredibly gorgeous dress, design and designer. Another wonderful tutorial, cant wait to try this one. Many thanks for sharing. Continued blessings to you.
Hi thanks for the tutorial I’ve been waiting for it I’m so excited❤❤ but I kind of messed up for the hips part I started doing half double crochet for the hip’s because I wasn’t paying attention I hope it turns out good 😢
Yes you can definitely give more coverage by doing a tighter stitch (hdc instead of a tc) it just means you’re going to have to build for a little longer 🫶🏾
thank you soooo much for this video. Hopefully this question isn’t dumb lol I’m still relatively new at crocheting whole projects but around the chest area, is there a recommended amount of chains that I do if that’ll make it more large chest friendly when I start? Or is it just a matter of trying it on and measuring as I go? Hopefully that makes sense . Thanks again 🫶🏾
I’m happy to help! Other than trying it on which is my best method, make sure you add the same number of chains on both sides and also make sure the number is a multiple of 3&4 💖💖
This is beautiful ❤❤I’m a beginner tho but I’ll love to create this look for my friends birthday…She’s a size 8 How many grams of yarn do you think will b enough
Thank you! I can’t give you numbers in terms of grams and I’ve only ever made this in my size. I’m about a size 4 and it took me about 3 skeins so maybe 6 skeins for a size 8. Hope this helps!
Amazing tutorial!! Could you please clarify at 9:15 you chain 12 on other end but i see you have done HDC and ended the work at the end instead of the middle, how did you do that? did you turn the work to do HDC on the other end too? sorry it was a Timelapse so couldn’t see exactly what happened
That part is a little confusing but I hope this helps! When you’re about to start the chest, chain 12 on one end then turn your work and hdc 12 and then continue to hdc until you reach the other end. At the other now you’re going to chain another 12, turn your work and then hdc 12 and then continue to hdc all the way down to the other end again. This essentially builds the foundation of the chest & you can definitely chain more than 12 on each end if you need the chest to be bigger. I hope this helps! 🩵🩵
Thank you, this was informative,I was kind of confused on that part too, so Quick question will one side always be bigger than the other? Because in the video it look like both sides were kind of even before you did the triple.
im gonna make this dress and some changes for my graduation dress but im confused on which part is for which.... i wanted to ask when we start off with creating the mesh is it for your hips or waist and does it base off of your measurements? this dress is absolutely phenomenal btw.
Thank you so much & sorry for the confusion. I start this off from the ankles up (120 chains) then work up to the hips then the stomach and finally the chest and arms. I hope this helps!
The length of the chains you start with should be the measurement of your hips & that number just has to also be a multiple of 3 & 4, you should be able to size adjust as you go on but trying it on! 🤍
I’ve been waiting for this ❤❤❤ I have a question I made mine with a little slither also on accident but I’m confused on how I am suppose to back track and make the 12 stitches on the other side of the chest. I’ve already don’t 12 stitches on the other side and HDC to the other side now I’m confused on how to blend them
That part is a little confusing but I hope this helps! When you’re about to start the chest, chain 12 on one end then turn your work and hdc 12 and then continue to hdc until you reach the other end. At the other now you’re going to chain another 12, turn your work and then hdc 12 and then continue to hdc all the way down to the other end again. Hello, thank you so much for this tutorial 🥹 I don’t have this brand of yarn available in my country, could you please describe what fibers it is made of, what is the weight etc ?
I get a little confused when doing the mesh into the round. Do you just chain 3 and crochet into the same hole you attached the slip stitch to or do you skip that hole and go into the next mesh hole?
Hi, yes I definitely think this would be too hot for the summer because the dress ends up being a bit heavy due to the layering, the mohair material and the fact that it’s a long sleeve. You can try my sleeveless mess dress tutorial for a lighter option! 🩷
Please help!! I bought the pattern but how do I convert it to size L?? Start with more than 120 orrr? I am new at this and do not want to have to frog the whole project 😭🫶🏾
Can someone please explain to me how to do the decrease on the lower body part? I know how to decrease but where do i put the hook to decrease? In the DC?in the chain 3 in the hole?how do I do it?please @itslewababy
The decrease goes in a stitch! Sorry for the confusion but when you’re working on the panel for the lower body part, you’re working in the stitches - hope this helps 🫶🏾
I believe you’re referring to the “decreasing” aspect. Decreasing is a technique used to make the piece smaller and there’s more detailed RU-vid videos than mine that could help you with that!
Okay so i fkd up right away by using a hook way too small and realized it's way too tight after reaching the start of the chest part. i improvised cuz i got so annoyed and just wanted to make smth out of it so now it's a mini mesh dress, nice but not identical to this pattern. Shortly, try on ur work people😭
@@PrincessSalameda-i1y depends on your yarn and maybe your body type. I free style most of my stuff now so i cannot expertly speak on this but i used a 4.5mm hook, hers looks like a 6mm
