I have the Guide version of this, and last night when I retrieved it from my bugout/in bag in the back of my Jeep, I realized that my vision is no longer good enough to read the tiny print easily. So, I went on Amazon Kindle and downloaded the newer Handbook version, 3rd Ed., and can easily read it without difficulty now. I have several solar panels and have little if any concern about losing power for any of my devices that have the Kindle app. I'm going to be keeping my small smart devices in a Faraday container to help protect against EMP. Thanks for the reminder.
@Tracey O Sorry, I don't remember where I got my panels. There's plenty of info online, not the least important factor is how long they've been in business. Tell the company what you want to do and what you need to do it. A reputable company will get you set up and keep you set up.
Lofty Wiseman has a RU-vid channel called lifeway I think. if you like the book, the channel is very good, Lofty is funny and informative. I think his book is in the top 3 for woodscraft.
