Great video! I did it as a day hike the other day, Oct. 9, 2024. Gorgeous scenery. My morning photos were my best with the morning sunlight on the mountains and the clear air. I was short of breath often, but I took my time. Regards, Andy

Easter Sierra Nevada is world-class backpacking, to be sure. Definitely visit if you can.

Yes, all overnight backpacking trips need a permit through Inyo National Forest. Thanks for watching!
