I've spoken highly of Malaysia in this video as I genuinely loved visiting the country, there's such a rich culture and it's so beautiful! I would say though that it's not an LGBT+ friendly place at all and therefore it wouldn't be somewhere I could ever consider living long term, it's not fun having to hide how you feel for someone. Definitely made me more appreciative of gay rights in other places following this! Just to give some balance, although it didn't detract too much as a tourist from our experience!
