I've been trying to reduce my screen time (sometimes successful, sometimes not - ha) so I watched all of your Tahoe Rim vids at once tonight. A while back I watched your Wyoming vids in one sitting. I'm continually grateful that you film your adventures. I do get sad and down about not being able to be 'out there' like you guys do (hence the reason for reduced screen time) but I'm still glad to see the great beauty of where you guys backpack. Being 'on trail' is when/where I'm most joyful.
Another great hike in the books! You make it so fun to watch and always keep it real. Pesky showing up at the end was just perfect 😂 Enjoy those showers and good food! Until the next time, take care and blessings on you both 😎
You shouldn't have told us about the dirt on your face, Kristy, I just thought you were tan! 😂 Between that and Annette's comments about odors wafting up, I was cracking up!! Thanks for another fun and beautiful adventure. And, Pesky.
Kudos for your 21+ mile day! Looks like the TRT suited you two very well! A nice challenge, but close enough to civilization to pack lighter. What a fun adventure!
Congratulations on completing the last leg… 21 miles! You two are inspiring. This was one of the more enjoyable trips thank you for taking me along and now I have to try the TRT.😊
Congrats! 🎉. I was just wondering if the trailhead parking was safe when Pesky showed up!! Always love following your adventures, thank you for sharing. 😄
So sorry about Pesky- but what an awesome trail and thanks for taking us along. Because of you- I've booked a trip on the South Downs Way when I travel in October! It'll be from B & B to B & B but I'm walking it! ( if the tour runs) !
Way to kick ass ladies! 175 miles in 12 days! The average is 15 days to hike the TRT! Damn Pesky as your welcoming committee! lol! ❤ keep on inspiring us to get outside! 🥾🥾🥾
I would love to hike the TRT, but I cannot do such long stretches. I would plan on 3 weeks for the trail. Do you think there is a way to put water caches? I would be willing to pay someone for water support if it is logistically possible? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I think you asked this question in the wrong area and they didn't see it. The area you are typing in is to answer a question or put a comment.@@EvaNichols28
@@wanderwomenkristyannette5021 thank you so much for getting back to me on this. I’m going to do some more research to see if this ol’ gal still can make it happen. Even if I’ll have to make it in sections, it would be a great adventure!
Comment #2 - good discussion about dealing with bears. I think I'm way more afraid of mountain lions and moose than I am of bears. As you well know, here in Colorado we've got plenty of all of that! I'm not too far from Austin Bluffs open space; bears & cats are seen fairly regularly.
Omg...your the most badass women I've ever seen! My hats off to you!! Love you both and I hope your sitting on a sofa somewhere, after 3 showers and eating cookies!!🎉
Good job, another great adventure. That was a long day of hiking. Did you two get new pack covers? Maybe you told about that and I missed it. I'm just wondering if any restaurant has ever turned you away because of eau de trail? Are you going back to Colorado Springs now and are you living in the air stream or other mobile home? Take care, be safe.
Congrats and what a finish!! I have been carrying some Dr. Bronner's in an eye drops bottle for washing myself and my clothes when on trail. It helps beat back the stink until I get into town. Happy Trails! 🌈🏕🌄
