I visited Sisupalgarh last Sunday (9.11.2018). It was a great disappointment. The Archeological Society Of India has not taken any care of the historical place except placing two notice boards that these places are protected monuments. The notice boards are also in damaged condition . Great shame. No roads to properly go around the place and the place is full of encroachments. The approach road to Sisupalgarh is also quite bad.
Gyes plzz share it and protect our culture may the government know about it and do somthing to protect it .I am from Sisupalagarh and want your support to protect it
Jainism is such an old religion and how these ancient sites have been neglected by the ASI. Felt sad that even the locales do not value their own past. Such a shame.
the ancient odia civilization is as old as the vedic period. it was the great kalinga and utkala empire. the theory that ashoka conquered over kalinga is not fully true . ashoka compromised when he couldnot defeat kalinga .
