When I hike, I always say my dog hikes twice as much with all her running around, LOL, but that's nothing compared to a youtuber coming back to pick up the cameras. I love it, you earn it. Thanks for all your work. You were a huge help and inspiration when I first started.

I salute you for your patience and perseverance. The take by mile 1 on the PCT brought back memories. Thankfully that spot doesn't have a long view across the trail that had to be walked back on. Haha

I feel so many of those on a personal level. All the walking to retrieve the camera, trying to catch a falling camera and totally becoming tongue-tied and having to start an intro over several times. Thanks for the laugh.

Nobody ever tells you about that one biting horse fly that follows you buzzing and biting your ear on the AT for twenty miles straight. The the fly takes a break for twenty miles.. then comes right back for another twenty. ❤😢

How many miles would you estimate you've added to hikes by turning around for your equipment? I love some of the B footage from your videos, but I know it's got to be a bear to always set up and "move on" to then come back and get them and walk back to where you edited the turn around. And do you edit on the tail or send the footage home to get edited? I want to hike The Discovery Trail in Washington State which is only about 130 miles. But since 2021 I've not been able to walk like I use to. I had a kidney stone and the recovery from that killed my stamina and then I developed degenerative disc disease in my lower back which makes it almost impossible to walk or stand for any length of time. I was walking 2 to 3 Miles a day and using your videos as inspiration and was really looking forward to being able to do that hike at the time it was going to be an estimated 2 1/2 week walk if I did it now it would probably take me closer to a month with my current health conditions of I was even able to complete 1/3 of it.
