Beautiful car... thank you for putting the top down without whining like a school girl (like so many others) about the effort needed to do so. If you can't deal with putting down the roof down on a Spyder buy a Boxster!

Spyder RS, probably one of the best Porsche sports cars ever made. My favorite 4 in no particular order 991.2 GT3 RS, 991.2 GT3 Touring, 982 Spyder RS and 981 Cayman GTS.
I like your video. I’ve seen all the reviews and don’t need to be told all the facts and specs. It’s simply an enjoyable video to experience since I will likely never drive there nor drive an RS (I have a 4-cylinder Boxster and am perfectly happy with it).

Love that part of Germany! You produce some very nice videos, especially this one. What’s your opinion of the roof operation? It would not stop me from owning this car; same for you?
thank you :) The area around Stuttgart and the Black Forest is really nice, I love it aswell :) I think the roof is some good fun. the ability to just remove the back part and have the sound with the roof still on is very cool, the roof operation is fun and something to enjoy. I would love to own it as an addition to a car collection. I actually daily my 981 GTS at the time and that would be too much for the Spyder RS, but as a fun addition to a collection of 2-3 Cars, the Spyder RS would be amazing!

@@Souldrives wow, really? No black X, vignettes (I use 16-28mm F2.8) or color shifts? I use it too, but it really doesn't work for me at all or it is often still too overexposed, it lets in too much light at F2.8 - 1/50 and ISO 800 for S-LOG3. Or do you use a ND filter only (probably ND2-400 or ND3-1000?) instead of the ND/CPL combined?
@@CarToniGain I can actually go to ISO 200 with SLog3 on my Sony A7 IV and I film in 30p so I'm shooting on 1/60 ... My ND Filter goes from ND2-400 and then I have my CP on Top... This shoot for an example I was in an open area with very harsch Sunlight. You can even Tell some Parts of the Video are overexposed. Very hard conditions... I do overexpose my footage normally by 1.5 and my ND Filter is always able to bring my exposure down far enough. In the Car I use my 14mm Samyang 2.8, I don't have any Filters attached to that one, so I do ISO 200, 1/60 or even sometimes 1/80 And then I actually Bump up my F-stop to sometimes even 15 to get the right exposure. This time that backfired on me, the camera was all over the Place with its focus... that happens sometimes with my setup when I go to F15 or higher... But honestly, I didn't care anymore at that Point... I was dying in 35 Degrees in the shadow and I was sunburned already from the beginning of the Video... I just went with It :D
@@Souldrives Haha great mate! Thanks a lot for your detailed explanation. I also recently started making cinematic car videos, but my lighting is just difficult and really bothers me. Also the ND filters just suck for me with X-crosses, vignetting or color shifts on my Sigma 16-28mm F2.8. I just want that F2.8 to make everything look cinematic and naturally blurry. But because of the filters that are so bad and don't work well with me, I usually have to shoot 1/250 or something in full sun. I hate not having natural motion blur, but I hate a higher F-stop even more hahaha. That's why I was so curious about it. I'm now looking for an ND filter that is perfect for me. I noticed you said ISO 200 on your Sony A7 IV, I use the A7 III but the native (and so is the minimum) ISO on S-LOG3 is still 800? Also on the A7 IV? Or do you film in Cinetone or another picture profile? Anyway, thanks a lot for investing your time in these comments.
@@CarToniGain np mate, hope I can help you a bit with your problem… as far as I know the A7III only has 8bit colour, and is only able to do SLog2 or S-Cinetone… I still have my old A7III and I use it for my risky shots where I put my camera on a Suction mount outside of the car… I only use it in S-Log2 because with only 8 bit colours, I feel like a super flat Profile would take away too much colours to edit back in with only 8 bit
Sadly they are very expensive on the used market right now… but I have never driven anything like it. Its really a unique driving experience 🙂 and so much fun!
Mega! Enzian Blau und Gold ist der Hammer. Ich suche gerade nach einem 718 Spyder in genau der Kombi. Aber selbst nur das enzianblau ist so selten.. Felgen kann man nachher im Zweifel noch pulverbeschichten lassen. Der RS ist leider nicht im Budget 😊
@@LiveLifeLasting Ich liebe diese Farbe 🙌 hast du mal einen 981 Spyder Probe gefahren ? Wenn der RS nicht im Budget ist würde ich beim Normalen Spyder mal nach einem 981 schauen. Die sind natürlich langsamer und haben weniger Power… aber Emotional und von Sound her, kommt wenig an einen 981 Spyder/GT4 ran.
@@Souldrives Denke da hast du Recht. Nur sind die dutzend die es aktuell gibt meist in einer Farbe die mir nicht zusagt, habe den 981er Spyder aber auch aufm Schirm, man braucht einfach Glück 🍀
@@2BAD63 die Außenaufnahme und der Ton sind Separat 🙂 beschleunigte Außenaufnahme & Drive by Sound sowie Tachoaufnahme sind auf anderen Strecken & auf der Autobahn aufgenommen 👍
