BACKSTAGE @ Spring Awakening on Broadway! 

god, i'm ashamed to even admit it, but i think that the "i believe" scene is one of the most beautiful scenes in dramatic art. so raw, so scary, yet so utterly loving and beautiful. they portrayed the parts with such passion. I think that Lea and Jonathan were the only ones to get it down to a perfect science and they were able to act it out the way that it should be.

I NEED!!!!!!!!!!!! this whole recording!! The entire show!!!! The quality of sound and image is amazing!!!!!! They need to release this, sell it as a DVD or something. Please do that in the future!!!!!!! Please release at lease one version of all of those high quality recordings.

those bears in the background in Groff's dressing room are ones I gave Groff and Lea! I was told that they were in that position and I freaked out when I first saw this video!

i saw SPRING AWAKENING last week 2 days before lauren left and it was amazing i was you cry and giggle through the whole show

yeah i totally agree! BTW...you can totally see my bears that I gave Groff and Lea in the background of Groff's dressing room making out (complete with pants down!)That made my day when I first saw that! I knew that they were there b/c Lea told me but I didn't know I'd be able to see them in the video!!

You shouldn't judge Phoebe on the little piece that she sings in the clip. I've heard her sing more than "My Junk", and she has a seriously beautiful voice. It has a little girl quality to it, and she sounds very young (which is great for the role of Anna). But what's ironic is that she's the oldest female in the cast!

Why are you ashamed to admit it? I don't know anyone who wouldn't agree with you. That scene brought m to tears the first time I watched it.

Grrr...I'm so mad I just really got into this musical, considering it's not on Broadway anymore. Spring Awakening is such a good show. :)

@luquiroga24 No Unforchantly though there has been talk of it. I think there is but not with the music. You can watch it all on youtube though with the origanal cast. it is actualy in pretty good qualty...

but it will be launched at the curran theatre in san fran.

Well that's a little harsh. I like her Blue Wind, it's very soft and pretty. I HAVE heard more than Blue Wind (and Dark I Know Well and all the other songs that Ilse sings). She's good at Ilse but it's not really her...type. If you don't like her voice, then sure, okay. But you don't have to be so harsh to the point saying that she sounds like a dying cat.
