Saw this a year ago in Vienna. Although I struggled with the positioning of the surtitles, Willemijn was head and shoulders above the rest of the cast. Incredible command of the stage.
I love the background music with the piano! what do you think? was mrs danvers in love with rebecca, and that's why she couldn't deal with her death, and hated the new mrs de winter?
That's how my best friend and I see it, yes. We talked about it immediately after the Musical, there is so much longing and some of the lines Mrs. Danvers is singing… but there are many ways to interpret it, lots of people don't see it that way.
Can someone explain the Honorifcs "Mrs" to her character. She's introduced as Mrs Danvers, but I don't recall the character confirming if she was married, widowed before.
