Backstories: Sandra St. Victor-Ep. 004 

When I first discovered Sandra St. Victor I had no clue she was this great. She has a wonderful voice. only from hearing her contralto speaking voice you can get an idea how beautiful her singing voice is. My favorite song of hers is "Come over" which is a masterpiece to me. Once i listened to the song like 5 or 6 times in a row every day during a week, cause I couldn't get enough of it.

The first time,i discovered Sandra(thantimes member in Family Stand) was with the single "Plantation radio",which was played a lot at Dutch national radiostations.Saw the performance at the Pinkpop Festival,so went a few days later,to their concert at Doornroosje, Nijmegen. That was a great concert and what i still remember quite clear,that Sandra asked the audience to stop smoking,during the concert,cause it damaged her voice.The audience did this right away and general Later i saw an interview at the Dutch national telelevisionstation,where she told,she loved the Sonsbeek Park in Arnhem(just a few small streets away from my home) and she loved it more than Central Park,New York. That got me flabberguested. This Grand Lady of Soul,living in my hometown.That made me a kind of proud.

Sandra’s voice is the truth! The energy her music carries is the real deal.
