Madeleine is just a name they used to represent anyone who's been bullied. This song was inspired by all the Gay teen suicides that have been happening. The Backstreet fandom lost someone to bullying, so the Boys wanted to pay tribute to her and everyone in that situation.

she was a girl who was a bsb fan who was bullied for being a fan among other things she killed herself, but kev and aj wrote it all so in general about bulling
