@@tml184the first part he tried to sing was just too high for him, and you could tell he knew it didn't work. However, his vocals toward the end are great. I'm a bass/baritone, and I know the pain of not being a tenor while trying to hit some of those lead notes.
They all are effortlessly singing. I love Nick’s smile when he harmonizes with Joey. Joey’s voice reminds me of Howard from Take That and Harry Styles with a hint of Shawn from Boyz II Men.
I've always loved the raspiness of Nick's voice and how he can change his voice to hit all of the notes. ❤ My sister and I took my daughter to see a Backstreet Boy's concert for her 10th birthday. It was so much fun!
It's weird, watching this. On one hand, I'm watching four boy band legends sing one of the most well known hits of their era, making their talent so casually clear. On the other, I can almost see it from the perspective of someone who has no idea who these people are, casually listening to what appears to be four really talented dads in a family room singing a 90's hit for the fun of it.
In that scenario I wouldn’t call them really talented. They’re ok, but RU-vid and TikTok are littered with people who sound 100 times better than these old guys.

@@lightup6751 I guess it depends on which pool we're comparing them to. Compared to the average person on the street they are certainly better. If we're comparing them to the average singer on social media it's a completely different matter. Just my opinion of course. But I really don't think they are very gifted vocally.
@@kylejoe5477 they actually can and pretty good. Joye can go solo no doubt, Lance has rich low voice, they both can have a great duo together. And if they call Chris with his high-pitched voice it's even better. JC has the greatest voice, but that guy can go alone. Lance, Joye and Chris is a great combo. LJCync.

I never liked Lance's voice, it's too deep in my opinion. Joey I was surprised by how good his voice is, but unfortunately, he does not have the physical attraction to be a lead singer.
I am so glad people are finally starting to see how talented Joey is. Dude has been killing it vocally for years but rarely got a chance to shine in NSYNC. He's a beast vocally!

Born and raised on the streets of L.A., I never cared what the homies thought. I rocks with Backstreet Boys, 98 degrees, Nysync, Savage Gardens, and all them white brothas. Me and my wife’s beginning was based around the time these groups came out and everyone knows music is a timeline. I can always remember what I was doing when certain songs came out and Backstreet Boys came out when I met my then girlfriend now wife and if we had to do it all over again I would’ve wanted it no other way. 🤙🏾
Guys in general weren't suppose to like this kind of music back then. No matter how you slice it tho, good music is good music. To me, BSB was alright, but NSYNC is/was next level. Their music was more along the lines of Black inspired. The beats, the harmonies, the intricate dance numbers.
After this many years, their voice still clean and like they are singing for the first time. That shows how much they respect their craft and took care of their voices. Much Love.

I'm really impressed by how consistent Nick is when so many voices deteriorate by his age, yet he might sound even better. AJ's has such a satisfying quality and is still my favourite, even if it sounds more strained in recent time.
I was thinking the same. I can't remember any N Sync song without Justin's voice dominating; I can't really remember anyone else's individual voice. Quite different from BSB, as their voices are so different and they all got a chance to showcase them.
That's because all the attention n spotlight was put mostly on JC and Justin. These two were ignored. Feel bad for them. As for the Backstreet Boys, they all had a their chance and part to sing.

YES! Lance and Joey can really sing- Strange that they were the two members that never received solos. 😮 Brian Litrell would definitely be here if he could still sing- BSB's three main singers were Brian (absent), AJ (present) and Nick (present). Nsync only ever allowed Justin, JT, and Chris to sing lead/solos, and neither of the three are here in BackSync.

You know what I've always loved about Nick's voice? He can support the baritones then slide all the way up to the top of his register to hit the high notes. People don't talk about how much RANGE he has. It's honestly really incredible.
JUST stumbled across this video and 💓💓💓 my HEART. Others have said it too, but we never got enough of Lance and its just not right. You just don't hear that deep, smooth sound everywhere. 💓 I always listened extra close when I knew we'd get a little extra bass. It warms the soul.
When I saw Joey on Masked Singer, I realized how wasted Joey's talent was in Nsync. He definitely should have had some solos. I've always been a bigger BSB fan partly because everyone gets their solos, but glad you guys got to do something together and hope to listen to more collabs of the two groups.

Gosh, I just love AJ. Not only have I _seriously_ admired his incredible vocals for decades now, he is also the most loveable goofball I could ever imagine. I'm also happy that Joey finally got a chance to shine. His voice is absolutely gorgeous.

all of them have very good voices..i never like justin that much i like the others..especially chris and joey...justin was the main spotlight in their group and it wasnt fair to the others in the group my opinion.

We were just BSB DNA concert in Denver on Tuesday and we were talking about how great it would be to see these two groups of guys tour together! I can't even imagine how much people would pay to see that! Loved the concert the other night!! It was fantastic!
