Fantastic doco. Brilliantly shot and emotions captured with care and patience. As an ex youth worker, frustrated with the lack of crime prevention funding over the past 10 years thanks to the Liberal Govt, this program brought me to tears. True unconditional love and understanding is the only way for young people to adjust their trajectory in life. Bravo! Well done Catherine.

Absolutely wonderful film in all its aspects. So well made, with such sensitivity. The camera never intruded. The film is so very honest. Congratulations to everyone. I watched it on SBS just two nights ago and later sat through it again when I proudly showed it to my husband. I was hanging in there loving every word and scene as Bernie Shakeshaft, his volunteers, the dogs and most importantly the boys quietly teach us profound lessons in human nature. Catherine, congratulations and I hope you and your team continue to make many more films.

This movie was so inspiring and touching I loved it! I thank God for the team and the love and goals for the young men. It has shown how little it takes for some people to realise they matter. So sad for those who didn't realise this in time.
