Why is everyone so pressed about backup dancers getting recognized? They work just as hard as the idols to learn and do the dances and most of the time don't get any praise. I think it's awesome that they're being recognized for their talents. Some of you don't get the concept that praising one person doesn't bring down another. You can enjoy and cheer on your idols AND their dancers and not be taking away from either.

Let me correct just a little, idols most of them trained ranging 5-10 years at max. It would be lucky if they only trained for few years. It was a tough competition to debut and be recognized by the company. Idols follow a whole lot of rules, unlike most of dancers. They are not the same dude. Respect IDOLS.

@@a.a.6789 under dread alliance, i dont know if you know j black but hes a famous korean dancer, hes the ceo and it would have been the first group under the agency. unfortunately, emma had a falling out with them bc the company accused her of not informing them that she would be participating in street woman fighter and there was a lawsuit going on, emma won the lawsuit a few months ago. she never said if she planned to still debut under another company but im guessing that she doesnt want that anymore

Unpopular opinion but the Noze thing always felt forced. Not only did mmmh have better dancers and women who looked just as good as her, it also started as more of an inside joke with fans. Saying stuff like "move Kai, I'm tryna look at HER 😍" bc its obviously not rude when you're a fan. Everyone knows you respect him and don't actually want him to move. But then non-fans took over repeating those exact words and for most of them it was clear that they just used it as an opportunity to shade Kai or jump on a hype train. I have no problem admitting when someone steals the show but objectively, she didn't. Not with the moves and not with the lack of stage presence.

It's because the performance already showcases the soloist, plus they have multiple performances and promotional activities so you see enough of them. Dancers however, you get curious about them due to lack of content thus receiving more views in the fancams . PS : this is from my personal experience , others might be fans of the dancers but not the soloist ( understandable).

Y’all don’t understand how iconic all of the backup dancer are. All of them is a well known professional dancer. Monika, Emma and Noze has made their own legendary moment on SWF. Juhee always been a dance mentor on survival shows. And the rest probably already made a remarkable history. They are more popular than the idols because of the solid reason.

Agree with the two, but Noze wasn't that famous until she got viral for her visual. Her popularity rose and her talent for recognized. After that she joined SWF and got even more famous.

i mean, i got to know monika, lip j and honey j is like a year back or more before SWF, but they mostly known around the dance scene or people who follow the scene. so yea,, i even freak out when i se them in the program, like how in the green earth that they make singer or idol to judge those big name dancer about how good their dancing in dance competition????😂 edit: i am not korean btw
