I'm now working at riding backwards as I look over my shoulder and navigating turns. After feeding some local birds I take my MSuper V3 to the bottom of the San Gabriel River for some practice.
Just an observation but I think you should lead with looking over your shoulder and not using your mirror. Think of it like when you reverse a car and put your arm on the back of the passenger seat. If you don't reverse your car using that technique then you should do that too as I feel having the right body english in both circumstances will enhance your reversing skills.
Agreed. That's what this video was about - practicing my ability to turn my body so that I can look over my shoulder. The mirror is still useful for me.
