Just drew back 24 rvx 34. It was amazing draw cycle. Buttery smooth. Went into archery shop expecting g to like elite ethos...nothing smooth compared to prime.

You do not need to take the axle out to change the shims. But you do have to put it in a press. I moved from an inline 5 to a Revex 4. I agree one of the best shooting bows I've ever shot. Shoots amazing speeds because it is so efficient and super easy to tune. Prime hit it out of the park with this bow!

@@BackyardBows yes. I believe most shops have a small tool that will help push the shim off the axle easier once it’s in the press

That’s correct, I’m a prime dealer myself and we received a special tool to pop the shim off while in the press. Super easy and a breeze to tune!

Correct. I build the bows at Prime Archery. A press is required, and dealers are provided with the tool. But, if you do not have the tool, but do have a press, you can remove them conventionally.

You my friend are costing me alot of money HAHAHAHA. You sold me on an EnVision - was OK, but never felt at home with it. Then an Omnia - R shoulder issues and a L bicep tear that this bow aggravates (the forearm screams when I draw it) forced me to hang it up. Now......after TONS of reading, watching, and shooting.....I own a Revex 4. From the first shot it felt RIGHT. Comfortable, the most stable bow I've held, & the draw is just butter. The little vibe it had was taken out with a Dead Center 8" Carbon XS, a pair of Pine Ridge Wishbones, and a LS Cable Guard Dampener. For under $30 (needed the stab anyways so I didnt count it in the dampening price) I killed the vibration. So, now I have 4 bows for sale and the Revex is my new bow.....I shot the RVX4....not a huge improvement anywhere so I went with the Revex.

I bought a prime in 2011. Before they were "big". I told everyone they were way ahead of their class.... I still have that bow, It's killed a CRAZY amount of animals.... I've also owned multiple bowtechs... I did something weird last year and got a mathews...... needless to say, I went back to Prime... FOR ME, I absolutely love the CT5. Being 6"5, it's hard for me to find bows that I am comfortable with.... Thanks for being honest, man... ur not just like "yeah man,best bow ever" and NOT give an explanation. In my opinion, the balance that Prime has accomplished is next to none.... I've never shot a mathews that's dead in ur hand.... they are all top-heavy as can be.... (NO WONDER THEY MADE THEIR OWN STABALIZER, right??) I hand people my ct5 to hold, and they instantly are like "what duh fok," cause it's ALREADY BALANCED... I told myself that I'll never stray away from Prime again. You earned a subscriber from ur honesty.

Awesome review. If you take bow suggestions I would love to see a Mathew’s monster wake. I think it was a bow ahead of its time and is somewhat comparable to the longer axle to axle hunting bows released this year.

Mate from AU, love your content. I have been unable to shoot my Mathews chill R . for the last 6mths, { Love my Chill R and my Border colie ), AC popped out, and broken pelvis. so you video's get me though the recovery, what's your thoughts on the chill R

I shot the prime back to back against the v3x. The v3x was far far far quieter and dead in the hand . The prime was nice but no where near it for those two aspects. Maybe next year i will try another one. This bow peaks my interest and i really like how prime and elite are bringing the heat to mathews and hoyt

I shot this and the RVX alongside the Lift & SS34. I felt the Prime was quieter and more dead. Maybe because the Lift is so light it caused that? I liked it but the Revex just felt better for me. Amazing how we all FEEL them differently. V3X is a nice bow for sure. The grip turned me off though.

Revex, although the prelude was prolly my favorite speed bow of the year, revex was my number one overall

I just found your channel about two weeks ago and I love your reviews. That being said, this bow could be your favorite bow out of all bows from last year and this year so far, but the Elite Omnia scored 102. Something close. I understand you said not to pay too much attention to the score but it’s killing me. What made the Omnia score so much better and you pick a lower scoring bow as your favorite? Is it being objective and your preference? Asking for a friend.

Without looking back I would say speed and tech prolly bumped score up. And yes def preference but with that being said I also loved the omnia

So did I understand this correct that this is a BowTech. I understood that prime was from G5 descendants. Because when I was 10 I had this BowTech and I couldn’t group well with it all and it was a terrible bow I tried everything I shot that bow for a few years and my dad and grandfather couldn’t even get it to group (. I got a bear bow. And instantly head touching arrows out to 45 yards. Everything else took work. The BowTech took a part of my childhood because I stopped bow hunting for about 4 to6 years. But it’s time to. Get a new bow. I’ve had my bear for 15 years. So it’s time to get a new bow
