In our gali cricket (Street cricket) first ball is known as try ball and you never get out on that

1)First ball is a "TRY BALL" so you are not out on first ball🤗. 2)One bounce one hand catch is also legal as there is a shortage of fielders 😅😅. 3)Six whenever ball is hit the back wall of the house 🏠 but out if it goes over it. Really reasonable rules in backyard or gully cricket very interesting and funny. Reminds me of my childhood.🙂🙂

In South Asia (Pakistan India and Bangladesh) we use to play on the streets and if the ball goes to any house it's OUT!

Not kidding Ashton Agar’s six and out rule is literally us, we have the worst neighbour on one side and a really nice one on the other. And first ball not out is the second most despicable rule ever but I have to play it and there’s one hand one bounce - *the* *rest* *of* *this* *message* *has* *been* *deleted* *due* *to* *excessive* *hatred* *and* *language* - For sure you need auto wicket-keeper

My rules: 6 and out: Out Out first ball: Not out One hand one bounce: Sometimes, when you’re actually playing the game of one hand one bounce them out but not out if not Auto wicky: If you have enough players for a player-keeper then no but if there’s 2-5 of you then auto wicky always, and auto slips and gully also

Six is only out if you lose the ball. First ball grace is the best rule, has to be there. One hand one bounce is also valid. never done the headbutt thing tho. I'm a keeper, so no auto wicky cause I'm always behind the stumps anyway.

First ball is try ball - no questions about that! Hit wicket is not out, obviously. Leg before is not even thought about. However, 3 times body could be out

Surprised Aussie rules were so similar to what we have in Pakistan. Six into the neighbor's house is always out. We had try balls growing up (not part of the game and the batter wouldn't be out). Always hated it as a bowler. If I had a dime for every time I got a batter out off the first ball only for the delivery to be claimed as a try ball... Playing outside, you were still out if a catch was taken one-handed after bouncing off a surface (not the ground). One bounce, one hand off the floor applied indoors, though.

Unless you specifically ask for a practice ball first up, it’s out. However, you’re well within your rights to ask for a practice ball or two before starting if you want

If you’re out on first ball, then it’s a trial ball 😂

My rules 6 is never out, it takes an effort to hit a six so why should you be out When I was younger you could never get out first ball, but now that I'm older you can One hand one bounce was never on, it's either a catch or it isn't if you don't get there to take the catch then tough luck
