Elliott, my debunking videos are the result of seeing people who are genuinely fearful, some potentially suicidal over nonsense claims that they see in click-bait RU-vid videos, Facebook posts etc. I get many messages of support from such people and have had to reassure some of them. Do you remember December 21 2012, the end of the Mayan Calendar and the end of the World as we know it? Some people committed suicide over that. Catfish has been yelling at the Moon for 10 years now and screaming that we're all gonna die any day soon. In 2013, Catfish insisted that 3/4 of the world's population would be dead by Spring 2014... yet here we all are. In August of 2018 he told me that I had 3 weeks to live... yet here I still am. In early November 2019 he told his sheepish followers that the catastrophe was going to hit by November 11th 2019... yet here we still are. But I agree with you about the wisdom of being prepared in case of ANY disaster, whether it be an earthquake, flood, landslide, hurricane, tornado, fire, drought or anything else you can think of - including heaven forbid, the extremely unlikely event of an asteroid impact - if you are really worried that it is ever likely to happen and affect you in your lifetime (I'm not).
