Great video Jim, thanks for the follow-up video. Hope you document the steel frame next year and share. I got motivated and did the covered type like you have under the deck and have ilex, hydrangea and viburnum rooted!!! I have potted some hydrangeas up and was wondering about fertilizing? When will you be potting some of those that have rooted well?
I love the video updates on your propagated plants! I would like to know for the Black Diamond Crapemyrtle (if you have), I use the same techniques like the ones you did? As I know that new growth is red and slightly bend that I am trying them. The woody parts failed me many time by ending up of getting mold! 😞 Hopefully, I can get them well rooted like yours.
I've propagated and grown from seed before but this was mind-blowing for me, loved it! I'm going to up my game and at a minimum do more cuttings and hand them out to neighbors or sell them at a charity event for a non-profit.
Thanks Jim! I am enjoying your videos and have made the propagation box like you have under your deck. Many of my plants have rooted so i am looking forward to more videos on the propagation series so i know what to do next.
