A strategically placed Browning Strike Force trail camera captures 18 months of activity on and around a twenty three year old bridge located 100 feet from my back door. Camera is located in south Louisiana.
How privileged are we to look upon this private World of all the wonderful wildlife just going about its daily business ? Thank you for sharing this with us.
Yes, by all means, thank you for posting it.like a lot of other viewer's, At first glance it didnt look veyr trafficked...wow. Was that a public place? Myself I would be afraid of someone stealing my camera. The girl/woman dancing, was freaking funny. I'll bet she's a character.lol😂👍👏love your video
I love it. You get to know who lives in the neighborhood as well as the "drama".. Plus when the sheriff and dogs came across .... And the critters got romantic ... it was hilarious.
Just think. When a dog walks through the woods, he can smell the trail of every animal that has passed through plus the ones that are out of sight. Must be a bombardment of the senses.
I think its a little like eyesight. You see everything, but your brain processes each individual and collective thing you perceive. A dogs nose has a far better olfactory. And I bet their brains are better evolved to process the information. They have better smell and hearing. We have better range of color, and I think depth. And other cognition. Like a dog hears better, but we understand what we hear. Maybe not. Doesn't that make sense?
What I find the most amazing is that they can tell what direction an animal is going in. Even in say 50 feet I wouldn't think that the odor would be very different. And it usually doesn't take them 50 feet to know what direction. It seems like it only takes them a few feet to decide on which way to go. I'm sure it gets stronger to reinforce their decision. And bloodhounds being able to pick out which seat a person sat in in a stadium. I still can't comprehend how they are able to do that with all of the overlapping scents.
I can't imagine anyone giving this a thumbs down, that's insane. Nothing wrong with seeing these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat. Thank you for sharing your video.
Armadillos are cute but don't touch them or handle anything they have handled...they are a reservoir for the bacterium that causes Hanson's disease (leprosy) Mycobacterium leprae and Mycobacterium lepromatosis.
they don't mostly.. that's why you only see the cat once but the other animals are frequent visitors each night. it either didn't make it through the night or made it out and learned not to come back
thegreatalyssa if you lost that many cats why would you not keep them in the house then? Especially a pregnant cat. If they cry at the door and like to be outside then make an outdoor enclosure. That's what I did.
@@thegreatalyssa Keep your cats inside if you love them. We keep encroaching on all the wild spaces and before we know it they will be gone. We all need to respect the wild places and the critters that inhabit them or all we will have left are videos like this to remind us of what was.
They called Raiadna'acks, very common creature in the southern states. Pretty rare to see one so deep in the forest, usually they shed the mower and grow pickup truck on the way to the wilds.
Feral cats kill an incredible number of small mammals and song birds. One or two of them can have a devastating effect on the wildlife in an area. Catch them and take them to an animal shelter.
@@madjayhawk The shelters in my area refuse to take ferals. I'm a cat lover, but domesticated species are not meant to live in the wild. It would be better for them if they were euthanized, and for the song bird population.
Looking for a carjacker. He left the jacked vehicle and was on foot headed towards the bridge woods. Lots of manpower and big dragnet but the jacker eluded the Law.
@iknowiknowwhereiam ~. We have a great Metro Parks system in Ohio, every other animal would have been a deer. No armadillos here, bobcats are rare but not unheard of though.
I loved seeing all of the mother animals with their babies!! The possum mom with all the babies on her back was adorable. I also appreciated all of the armadillos!! I live in the Midwest so I’m not very used to seeing those little guys
It gets old sometimes... I have a bear that sleeps in a den less than 150 feet from where I sleep under a tarp when building my cabin in Alaska... I wont do him any harm since he hasn’t bothered me yet, but I hope I get the cabin enclosed on the next trip...
1. I love these animal videos! 2. All coexist? Where do you live? Fantasy land?? You put all those animals on that bridge at the same time And there’s going to be a fight. lol
How can you not like a video like this. Any thumbs down are just ppl whom can't handle life for what it is. God Bless all of you and his creatures too.
Benjimen Franklin I just saw one January while deer hunting in Alabama.... I was surprised. He was a pretty kitty, seeing him walk through made the trip even more special.
Bobcats are awesome, cougars not so much! Amazing animals but where I'm from your encounters are often limited to turning around and see them within 100 feet stalking.
@@snakeman1 BEAUTIFUL DOGS they check the bridge regularly. We have a short bridge across the shortest river you've ever see, about half a mile long. I saw my first cougar crossing that bridge, and my boyfriend pointed out the long "baseball bat" of a tail as he called it, so I could tell it was a cougar not a dog. Later I was walking home at 3:30 a.m. and saw a cougar crossing the highway following a few deer. Pretty close.
I know. Im so beyond hearing about the covid-19. My dentist is even making money off of this . I got a generated text 2 days ago saying "please come get your cleaning and exams as soon as you can because of Covid- 19. Lol. I couldnt believe it. I really wanted to send a middle finger emoji back but I knew it was just a generated text LOL.
Me too! I thought my eyes were failing me or possibly I saw a hairless possum my eyes are just fine I wasn't expecting to see an armadillo Keep posting more of these this has been very stress relieving
I love these kinds of cameras catching all the life right outside our own back doors. The coyotes and Bobcats are my favorites. The k-9 and his partners were a bit of a surprise though. 👍
Now, them two squirrels know what romancing is! But, as far as control is, I don’t think a pickup full of claymores would curb that traffic. Great vlog, thanks for sharing. Very enjoyable.
@@snakeman1 You are most welcome. Your including the temperature, time, and date was fun to read along with watching all the animal activity. Made the video more awesome than any of Tim's. Kudos! I'll enjoy seeing more of your videos.
Thanks Damamae. I'm with you. Surprised that I haven't picked up any skunks. As for foxes there are a few a mile or so away but in my area I think the coyotes and bobcats are the top predators and they keep the foxes away.
I’m glade we have RU-vid!! I don’t have the pleasure to see all of these beautiful animals on regular basis!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!!!❤️
Wow, that was one feisty opossum. I don't think I've ever seen one get that aggressive to a raccoon. It always strikes me for some reason to see wildlife take the easy route.
This is amazing! Thank you for compiling all these cool clips. Those raccoons cuddling, the rare wild toddler, officers, a dancer, wow! Also hailing from south LA!
The variety of wildlife there is amazing. You put a camera out to see deer and you get everything but a deer. Bambi and Flower were holding out for more money.
I love how the rabbit always leaves early and come back at night then looks around making sure it’s not caught 😭 and the bob cat looks like it has a little limp
