I enjoy both, but I, too, prefer, bacon gravy. This is how my mother and grandmother made it.

Just like mama used to make. I’m a trucker I’ve been everywhere. I used to get biscuits and gravy on on the road but they where never as good as moms. One time I asked her mom how come everywhere I go their biscuits and gravy are not as good as yours. She said they are probably using sausage and I use bacon grease. Dang if she wasn’t right.

This recipe is very easy and looks great! I didn't know "low and slow" is the key! I will remember that. :)

Low and slow is best because it usually prevents the bacon from over-cooking; the bacon becomes crispy without becoming tough.

Add the salt and pepper with the flour. Spices need to cook to release flavors.

Surly, you meant a teaspoon of salt, not a tablespoon. Even a teaspoon combined with the salt in the bacon would make it inedible for me! But I like food less salted than most, another reason for me to not eat at restaurants,

No, a tablespoon of salt is what my grandmother's recipe called for, however, in the video, I stated that you could you use less, if wish. Anyway, thanks for watching.
