Bactrian Camels are built for winter. Enjoy this short video we filmed this morning as they were released from their overnight holding area. Christmas trees make for outstanding enrichment items for our animals. The animals enjoy the smell and, in the case of camels, they enjoy snacking on them. You'll notice that the male camel is in rut, as indicated by the frothy mixture adorning his face.
