price of 1 for 4 people if they get it I do well in pump it up but since they allow certain errors and that chaos of departures of dates it would have been unforgivable in konami ddr extreme and alas, you officially die and you put a sign on your back you're worth shit
nktrain64 I was thinking the same a few years ago. Getting in touch with communities online and going to events such as anime conventions helped me getting to know people and make friends I could play with
All the friends I'm playing with here, I met them thanks to playing! If you play for long enough and consistently, you may eventually get acquainted with players that you can play together with! I hope you can meet people like that in the near future
It is! Even though half of us couldn't really keep up with the chart it was super fun to do, in the end it didn't even matter how well we did because we were enjoying ourselves so much haha
As far as arcade goes, for the time being I'm taking a break from DDR since we just got our PIU PRIME, which I'm enjoying the most right now (nothing much to do anymore on our DDR SuperNOVA). As for at home, I've been dying to play some StepMania for months now (like I used to) but I still haven't gotten around to building a pad yet. I've stopped buying pads since soft ones don't do it for me anymore and I don't have the space to store a hard one (the pad that I'm planning to build will have the ability to be taken apart for easier storage).
There's an unlimited amount of ways to build one haha. What I've done in my case is look at tons of stories, pictures and explanations by others on the internet to get a better feeling of different ways to do it and to get inspired. I also have a few friends who built their own dance pads so I can get tips from them and ask for help if needed. What I have already done now is making a simple 3D model of the wooden frame design I have in mind, to help me visualize things. Currently I'm thinking about how to build the sensors. I will try to document my work as I go and publish a 'journal' later for anyone who is interested about how I did all of it.
No problem! :) Yeah.. over here the amount of players is relatively small too. Nearly all of my friends who play here are actually people that I learned to know through dancing games! Going out and actively trying to get engaged with other players through events and online has helped me getting to know many new people who I now frequently play with.
