I associated that with the hyperdrive charging up before a jump, althought it doesnt make much sense it doing so while the ship is still in the atmosphere
Ships that were seen as symbols of bravery and heroism are now putting out the same sort of menace as the alien ships in ID4 when they start flying over the cities.... I agree about the sound too. Scary as heck!
Let’s be honest, it is pretty scary. Imagine you were on the other side of one of those ships on a battlefield ready to be fired on imagine you were about to be killed by a fleet of destroyers or the Venator class 😰😅😅
In clone war Venator docked on kamino city for suply naval crew or suply, aclamator docked for carry land battalion, / land army after war sidius destroyer them
It doesn't found scariest just the way of the gravity well generators turning the ship it is just a normal complete obscured sound of a gigantic Star destroyer
Agreed. Could you imagine being on that superstructure when it’s sinking but you’re trapped beneath some metal, knowing that you’re about to suffocate and get dragged along all that weight😭
It's the same sound effect used for the Executor crashing into the Death Star in Return of the Jedi and the Star Wars Battlefront II (2017) campaign. Noticed that when I first viewed this episode and was happily surprised
Maybe he was referring to the other facilities being attacked on Kamino, which Rampart couldn't see. Tipoca City couldn't have been the only infrastructure.
Another weapon that sounds absolutely stunning when powering up and firing is the stasis rifle from the videogame "Subnautica". It does a good job of conveying the gravity and power behind that energy ball that's released.
Can I post out that the clone who reported the status of the cities sounded like he regretted saying it. I can’t put my finger on what he was feeling but it sounded labored and almost a somewhat painful for him to say it.
@@widevader That was when their control chips were acting the strongest (and many Clones hated the Jedi regardless as many Jedi also hated their Clones)
this is a horrifying clip, the clones destroying an entire planet that they were born on and from, the venators that used to be signs of justice and hope are now murdering millions, the facilities creaking and exploding as they collapse into the ocean. gah damn
Yup. This. The Venator’s symbolism is very strong here. The once beacon of hope. It was to the republic what the imperial class was to the empire, it represented an entire nation.
Sounds an awful lot like a civil defense siren to be honest, which is why it is so unnerving. It adds suspense which hints to something occurring. We don't know precisely what could be happening, so, for some reason, our brains react to the unknown by having a minor panic attack and we get that chill and that feeling of uneasiness. Anything unknown does this to the human psyche to a certain degree. It's an interesting reaction to say the least. Something we don't know that could possibly hurt us? Brain: "Alright, that's it! Everyone listen up! This thing is unknown, that means we all need to drop what we're doing, and freak out. GO!"
It's a very definitive noise that stood out to me many times when watching Kamino Lost! The same can be said for the Separatist ships in Clone Wars whenever the view went past/close to one of them. Veeery eerie!
If only the fleet carriers in the videogame "Elite: Dangerous" sounded like this when they charged their FrameShift Drive (if you aren't familiar with the game, a FrameShift Drive [or FSD for short] is essentially a warp core from Star Trek and a hyperdrive from Star Wars put together)
This sound effect can be heard in Force Unleashed 1 Trailer it's the sound of a falling Imperial Start Destroyer have a listen it's much less audible, but it's there. It seems like the sound of reverse on a space ship since in this scene the ISD struggles to keep itself up ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RkBiYpD3SDc.htmlsi=fybq0BvehyCLCJC0&t=37
When I heard that, the first thing that came to my mandi was "The Oil" Soundtrack from Dunkirk. Same anxiety I suppose😅 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KKkCP7ovMQA.html
i'm gwessing that it's the effect the engines make while mooving at high speed trough the atmosphere, like all the air beeing moved by a colossal piece of metal, engines roaring, lots of metal probably slightly mooving cause it happens with big structures indeed terrifiyng if i try to immedesimate in the scene
@@phantomwraith1984 that’s actually pretty cool thank you for clarifying that. I thought it was new but I guess it’s been previously used everywhere maybe a game and other places as well but thanks for letting me know.
They use this sound effect, alot. Look up clips for MC-80 Liberty Cruisers being destroyed in Battlefront 2015, also was used in Mando S3 when thay Pirate cruiser was shot down
Really?!! Have you watched Andor? There is a scene with TIE fighter. That is terrifying! Bad Batch have couple good series, but I think it’s bad in general
That is sound is not the sound of the Venator turning around. It is the sound of the Hyperdrive charging up so they can jump to hyperspace. Like Admiral Rampart said: Randevu with the Fleet.
Rampart simply condemned the Empire, the terrible Stormtroopers were cannon fodder for the rebellion, if they had Clone Troopers plus Thrawn and Vader, the rebellion wouldn't have had a chance
I always put it to anti grav/engines rapidly increasing in power And love how at the episode start echo mentions about the rest of the fleet being missing And then we get a nice happy reveal at the end as to what they where doing
you also hear it when the executor is crashing into the death star, i assume it has something to do with the air moving though small gaps in the ship making a whistling noise but on a much larger scale which makes a lower pitch and a much louder sound
