I get where your perspective is at with Kendal Jenner and 818, but I think you guys may be missing some points. She took a product and tried to incorporate Mexican culture in it and profited from it. It’s not just a cultural appropriation issue, more so, a systemic issue at play. Brown people don’t get the same recognition for their tequila brands and it would be harder for them to move up the ranks. Have you seen the commercial? She’s profiting off of Mexican culture. That’s why there’s a huge SES gap between the whites and minorities here in the U.S. Silent systemic racism is a real thing ❤️ I study it
My queen! No shade to them bc I love them but they were talking about what her “true intentions” are, it’s not about what her intentions are, if they’re good or bad. It’s about the FACT that she is appropriating and benefiting off tequila… period! It’s undeniable
It’s not hating on Benito, it’s more just disappointing. He’s a person who supports and reps for Latinos so hard and then he dates someone who culturally appropriates minorities. And it’s not just Kendall it’s the whole Kardashian/Jenner family. They culturally appropriate other cultures too and make money from it. Sports teams are changing their names from degrading names for this reason. I still love Benito, I’ll support him but I’m just a little disappointed. And like you guys said, maybe Kendall needed someone like Bad Bunny to teacher her about the culture. I guess we will see.
Also this isn’t the first time they appropriate other cultures. Their family has been knowing for stealing ideas from other people and making millions of it. They may not care but let that be someone from their family members who they steal from.

This was such a good episode. Sebas is rocking the yellow and Josh’s story telling is so elaborate and filled with emotion. It makes you feel so hyped. I love when you guys bring guests too but honestly my favorite episodes are when it’s Just you two. The energy you guys have is immaculate.
I think the body language at the laker’s game was 100% off, I am with Josh! And I have to disagree with sebas for the first time in history… sebas it’s not about people not being allowed to make tequila but why use brown men, dressed as farmers, maybe they are farmers, then play dress up and use our people as props. Our homeland, that not to mention she NEVER has spoken up for our people, pretty much any people of color has she ever spoken up for human rights. And I say this as a non Benito stan, I don’t listen to his music, I can’t name you a song of his, it’s just a spit in our face being completely honest.

For me it’s not that Kendall has a tequila brand, it’s the fact she clearly didn’t have any Mexicanos (or Spanish speaking individuals) actually help her with it when she is trying to act otherwise. When her tequila first came out it was called “blanco tequila” instead of “tequila blanco”. No hate to her but it just rubs me the wrong way but like Josh said idk her or her intentions. I also agree with Josh on the body language comment! Regardless, Benito clearly can do what he wants and that’s fine- yhlqmdlg lifestyle!

I love y’all guys! I get your point in the Benito thing. But by saying y’all don’t care is lil heartbreaking. Y’all have a big platform and by saying y’all don’t care is feeding into the idea of not holding folks accountable. We can still be okay with them dating but just bc it’s BENITO & KENDALL doesn’t mean they get a pass. They should still be called out just as we would call out our friends, family and partners in their bullshit. They did/said some messed up shit. Can’t deny it and shouldn’t ignore it.
