@@Katerima1 Uh no. I love Byul, but lets not discredit anyone else by giving her all credit.. She wrote her rap, like she usually does. B.O wrote most of the song.
this is my fave song on the album, the intense progression of the song and the hints of dark sadness and the heartbreak the vocal line express, and moonbyul's intense and even a bit angry rap just make it the absolute best for me
I noticed that Mamamoo has such good break up songs. Destiny, Windflower, Better than I thought, Bad Bye. I never experienced a break up but if I ever do I’ll go to Mamamoo’s song for sure😂
Love that the message in their lyrics can give us some comforts..." that's why I don't see MMM as idols than an ARTIST. there's more to this gg than we'll ever know including their wacky personalities is a major plus! 🤣💚❤
This song has the best bridge I’ve ever heard. Moonbyuls dreamy sing-rapping overlaid by vocals building up into this beautiful harmony by wheein and hwasa at the end and finishing with a perfect power vocal from solar. It made the final bass drop into the chorus THAT much more satisfying. Just... *chefs kiss*
*SUCH* a good song. In fact White Wind is a really good EP! I find myself coming back to it again and again (and again). I accept your chef's kiss and raise you a *humble bow* of appreciation.
People who did not know Mamamoo have missed out a lot. They might give views to other groups with not so good song and vocal but missed such a beautiful song with heavenly vocal like this.
This song doesn't deserve a dislike, Mamamoo, a group containing members who could do any genre, may be pop or dramatic romance. You know who gave this song a twist and killed it for the song to be balanced, ---BYUL🔥🔥🔥
Wow, it was pretty clear what the song was about even without knowing the translation but these lyrics hit me right in the feels. It's something that is way too relatable for me right now. Moonbyul's rap (the first one in particular) was so intense it took my breath away as I was reading what she was saying. Also this feels like it could be a prequel to Wind Flower!
God, I never cry because of break up songs since I can't relate and most have very predictible/repetitive lyrics, but this one hits hard - the beat, strong vocals and lyrics combined make it really heartbreaking. Great job, producers and mamamoo!
I'm glad Mamamoo is only 4 members so we got to hear all members voice fully❤. Not like some group with 9 members that some member only got 1/2 sentence😂
@@d0wntownki2k not really, but also kinda. I mean not that it's the group's fault but of course if u have 9 members it ain't gonna be a vocal group or dance group, but rather people mastering in different roles will be selected. And so depending on their concept, not really easy to give everyone lines everywhere. Happens in any big group
I love the word play of Bad bye and Goodbye. Tbh at first I thought Byul’s rap part was a bit jarring of a transition but now I loveee it. It hits hard! Also their vocals and the piano instrument!! Overall best song in this album imo!
Actually my favorite song off the album!! Seldom I find tracks on k-pop albums that I love more than the songs that headline albums. Love MAMAMOO and Moonbyul.....KEEP DOIN YOU BABE!!!!!!!!
I wish just like the song I Miss You, moomoo would make this song popular as a ''hidden gems", and choose this song to be performed live if mamamoo ever ask which..
Yes, well said. Mamamoo have soooo many incredible songs tucked away as B-sides in their albums. Their title tracks get most of the attention, but the real joy is that every song in every album has been made with love and care, and among those are many gems and treasures to discover, in many different styles. Bad Bye always makes me cry, even from the first time I heard it without knowing Korean.
guess we're at the generation of KPOP where we ignore songs that give us motivational strength, confidence and more meaningful lyrics to a simple and plain lazy songs with upbeat and catchy instruments to the extend we have forgotten that ballad tracks can't have a chance in music anymore which is quite unbelievable in my opinion.
She is the main vocal and lots of people appreciate her vocals..😅 Even a señior singer goes out of hiding when she learns that Solar will sing her song..
You probably don't see it often cause everyone been knowing Solar slays😂. Wheein and Moonbyul were kinda looked over the first 3-4 years after their debut, so I think Moomoos are tryna make up for that, and it helps that they've been kinda showing off recently.
The fact that we rarely see solar's comments trending in youtube everywhere. Solar's stan is more calm. But then, its annoying that we can see other 3 members trending comments but not her, right?
god i can definitely hear this song in a drama (like the beat). I imagine a a scene with a man in a suit, in his apartment, watching the seoul night city view with a drink in his hand regretting something
The way the narrative shifted from wishing the loved one would suffer too, to wishing them well in the future. ;-; It reminds me of "FOMO" by Hwasa: "even if we say goodbye, let's love again". This song is just so freaking amazing, from lyrics, to the melody, i love it so much 🥺🥺💖💖
