From what I can tell the cling tone sounds awesome but sometimes I can't tell real good from watching a video are these cleans very similar to a vox ac30 in person.

That’s a great question, thanks for asking. I would say that most of the Badcat amps have a “Voxy” voice to their clean channel. There’s a few exceptions, but generally speaking I feel confident in saying that. Badcat amps are on a very short list of tube amps that have a great clean sound AND a killer dirty channel. I highly recommend!

Appreciate the review of this amp, still trying to decide between this one or the Hot Cat 30r. Would it be possible to demo the Hot Cat at some point in the future? I have the Cub 40R and the Classic Pro, looking for a higher gain Bad Cat to go with them.

I am a Lynx X owner and am very happy. I went through the same decision. I still might get a hot cat down the road but I love my Lynx X. The cleans are absolutely gorgeous and the clean channel and get some great dirt as well. Unbelievably versatile! The dirty channel is just a fire breather but has incredible clarity and detail and makes me want to play all day! I do not regret my decision with the Lynx x one bit! After a year it is still my number one.

I enjoyed the video. Thanks for including clean playing. I would like to offer a suggestion to make the video a bit more friendly to interact with. Simply add time stamps in the description of different guitars, the intro portion, and conclusion.
