He got me with that shit. He puts the imo best dragonball game ever created in the thumbnail so people click on it because everyone knows fighterZ is a good game.
There is like one recoler dude ssj1 thru 3 were the same colors with different designs god was a slimmer form and my personal favorite blue is the only recoler
DBZ Legends would actually be the first game to have the DB simulator-esque feel long before the BT series came about. Too bad they didn't bother localizing that one over UB22 and Final Bout. Also, Battle of Z has little to do with Zenkai Battle Royale. It features a similar team-based style of gameplay, but it is not a port in anyway. It's a completely different title made from scratch specifically for PS3/Vita and Xbox 360.
The bit about printing out dbz pics at the library brought back so many memories and so much nostalgia, along with the geocities page. We definitely were early day dbz fans
I find it amusing how Fighter Z caught on, instead of the actual reading, which is FighterZ (you know... like fighters)? Also I like the SSJ4 design. Overall I like the video. It's nice to know there's people who actually dislike Raging Blast, like I do.
I had a fake copy of the GT GBA game which didn't save properly. So I spent an entire day finishing the game as a kid and it was a race between completion and the red GBA battery warning. 10/10
"Budokai 1 is not worth talking about" I majorly disagree, it was one of the first fighting games I owned and I absolutely loved it. The only Budokai game I didn't really like was 3, and I suppose that's a very unpopular opinion
Battle of Z was Awesome I even pre ordered it from gamestop which you get Super Saiyan Bardock bonus if you did, and there was a best buy pre order Super Vegito bonus.
Its nice to see someone who respects others opinions in this super toxic comments section I love ssj4 but it seems this comments section is full of people who think you are a criminal for saying that
he can usually make good videos but this entire video was a huge miss. It isnt often two of the worst takes (that arent on the level of "Super is when dragon ball got good" or "Great saiyaman RUINED gohan's arc (because its not like gohan already completed his arc or anything) are in the same video (thise takes being ssj4 design is bad and that raging blast is so bad it makes it look like the developers forgot how to make games, when mechanically it plays and controls so much more smoothly than budokai tenkaichi 3, a game he praised seconds earlier)
@@dvdcopyofsharktaleVEVO There's nothing wrong with thinking SS4 design sucks because there's nothing objective about its quality. You can dislike it and that's completely valid. I think it sucks because it doesn't even look like a Super Saiyan transformation, it looks completely unrelated and yet it's the fourth stage of Super Saiyan.
@@okagron That's because it is unrelated, and just had the SSJ4 name tacked on. The SSJ4 is more like a different transformation path based on the Oozaru form rather than the golden haired super saiyan.
@@dvdcopyofsharktaleVEVO > that raging blast is so bad it makes it look like the developers forgot how to make games To be fair, if you're comparing it to BT3 (the last PS2 game the same dev team made), it is really bad. The animations (and thus action) are significantly slower, the roaster got cut in half, the combat got streamlined in the sense that it got remapped and several moves were removed, and the customs mode utterly broke any sense of balance.
I liked the SSJ4 design, but with that being said, when Battle of Gods was in the works, the initial design for the SSJG form looked SOMEWHAT like a Golden version of the SSJ4 form from DB GT....And also the only Saiyan to ever obtain BOTH forms naturally was Goku, in the case of Vegeta, he obtained SSJ4 via a Blutz Wave machine and trained with Whis to obtain the SSJGSSJ form or SSJBlue
@@JadenYukifan28 SSjG looked like Golden SSj4?? HOW!??? When I first saw SSjG I nitpicked the shit out of if because Goku "downgraded" and became skinny, and the plus side was it changed his hair to red, which reminded me too much of Kaioken. Now, I still feel the same, but it is far more refreshing than Blue, but I'm still upset there aren't multipliers or even consistent fights (Vegeta apparently could go SSjG the whole time, but actually decides to use SSj1/2 throughout Super against Anaraza, Cabba, etc even though it is supposedly more energy consuming according to the headcanon.) Vegito SSj3 was supposedly no match for SSjG back when BoG was new, but then Kale/Krillin/17 tanks/match Blue Kamehameha. WTF. Oh, it's not "Full power"? No, it's lazy. Oh, and then there's Kaioken Blue, Blue 2, Rose, Rage, Berserk, Berserk but calm, Berserk but calm+, Omen UI, and "mastered" UI...like how many forms are there!? Oh, and then there's the manga, where Roshi has UI, Mastered SSB is a thing, and Black SSj1 is a thing as well. It's just a mess and we have to live with it. But all of that is irrelevant. How do you confuse Base+Red+Skinny for SSj3/4-like long hair+Golden Fur+Buff?
@@Goblin_Hands No no, before the actual SSJG form was chosen, they wanted it to look more like what the SSJ4 form looks like, but with Gold hair and fur...then when they chose the way it looks now, someone mentioned that it should look more slim lined rather than muscular..hence why Goku's SSJG form looked as if he was in his Base form..sans the red coloring
@@JadenYukifan28 Hmm...pretty sure the Golden form existed in theory even before SSj4: "Gold was considered to be the head hair color of the Super Saiyan 4 form (like the core Super Saiyan forms); however, it was decided that black head hair went better with the red body hair." dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Super_Saiyan_4#cite_note-TGW-6 Plus, you'd have to imagine people thought of using gold before silver for SSj5 in AF, but you might be right in that they considered it for SSjG after all that. I guess I just misread your 1st comment.
That’s what I’m sayin, Budokai 3 was the best DBZ game, while all of the Tenkaichi games were massively overrated. The only thing that was good about the Tenkaichi games, was the amount of content in Tenkaichi 3
Yeah no super sayian 4 was shit. Super sayian blue was shit. And honestly super sayian 3 is raditz with blonde hair dye and no eye brows. Out of the big 4 shonen anime (dbz, naruto, one piece, bleach) dbz is the most uncreative shit ever. Not saying I don’t like dbz, I fucking love dbz, but when the first super sayian transformation (which becomes common as hell) and ultra instinct (gets fucking spammed in super) it just shows that dbz is a shittier anime than the other 3. And I like dbz more than bleach
@@ZacharyHampton yep 100% true. One piece and naruto are better in this regard. Bleach and dbz, particularly buu saga and dbs, suck. It's basically color swapping character's hairs at this point. It was a fun premise at first but now it's shit because of the power levels, ridiculous names ie ultra instinct and all the bs. Ss4 was bs too like tf oozaru to ss4?
Rofl ^this dude is literally just copy pasting his shitty -opinion- flame on any comments that don't shun SS4. Either this is omega troll or you need to hit them damn english books homie.
@@hashi258 I'm somewhere in the middle but more or less agree. As a kid who loved DBZ and was just ecstatic there was a continuation (I didn't really understand canon/noncanon back then but I'd have still enjoyed it for that reason alone regardless) my memory is pretty absent of bad memories for it. Between seeing some clips sprinkled and just being objective about flaws where they are regardless of my enjoyment for something now that I'm grown, I probably would be bothered by alot if I rewatched I admit. That said, the moment SSJ4 and not to mention SSJ4 Gogeta/100x Big Bang Kamehameha hit the screen were legendary moments for me and my friends. When Gogeta deflects the final enemies most powerful attack with a single finger, eyes closed, and didn't move an inch- my friends and I were absolutely losing our minds lol. I choose to keep them in tact instead of ruin them with my adult brain that's realistic and wants continuity because there's slim to zero chance I'll be able to find many shows I love enough to have those level of emotions for without appeasing said brain, at this point in my life. You did yourself a disservice by not playing Raging Blast 2. That game was up there for best DBZ fighting game, with amazing multi battles and crazy opportunities to revisit some of the toughest battles realistically with proper imbalancing against you so you felt the weight of the difficulty. Plus there was attack customization and a cinematic deflect mechanic. Honestly, you should give RB2 a chance. Was not disappointed with it, and it came close to surpassing Tenkaichi 3 as my favorite multiplayer DBZ romp.
I appreciate the Kinect for one reason: it’s how I convinced my parents to buy me a 360 in 6th grade, they assumed the Kinect would help me get exercise.
The DBZ CCG did change my life. I won the National Championships in 2003 and was hired by the company that made the game, and later I was hired by FUNimation and got to work on some DBZ stuff. Gave me my start in the entertainment field and I currently work in marketing on some first-party video game titles on console.
DBZ Sagas. Just...all of it. What’s even worse is that for a long time, it was the *only* DBZ game for Xbox. So if you were an Xbox player and a DBZ fan, that’s essentially all you had! And I was never the biggest fan of Raging Blast either. To me it just felt like bootleg Budokai Tenkaichi, and it’s safe to say that I just stuck with that instead.
@@rej3ktstudios986 Yeah, he became kind of a meme as 'the loser', which is honestly baffling to me. Dude is am multi-millionaire baseball player, he ACTUALLY uses his abilities for monetary gain, he's probably the smartest dude there.
Did you call ssj4 design awful? That's just stupid. I mean ssj4 probably has the best design with the cool looking hair while still adding more than just a simple hair style and color change. Its by far the best form and most creative.
Steven Drake More details does not equate to a good design. I like God WAY more than SSJ4...but eh. I don’t HATE it. I just find it inferior. Better than Blue though.
I'm kinda with Xavier on that point. Or rather I hate ss4 in GT because all of GTs designs (especially Vegeta Pan and Trunks )are bad to mediocre at best. SS4 Xeno Goku though? That's the best
Benny Bluestacks Gave trunks a bad design? Did you see what they did to him in Super? GT trunks looks leagues above super, especially that tacky green shit bulma put on him.
RajOfColumbus Yeah? Uh...okay. So is Super Saiyan God. His hair burns red, his eyes become a bit wider and have pupils instead of none like Goku usually has, and most importantly he VISABLY becomes slimmer. That’s a very clear transformation, but doesn’t force Goku into a fur suit with eyeliner. Again, I don’t hate SSJ4, but I find it inferior to almost every other form not named “Super Saiyan Blue”.
Am I the only one who thinks the Super Saiyan 4 design is cool tho? It feels a lot more creative than just Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan or even Super Saiyan 3, I like the concept of "conquering the Great Ape form", and the hybrid look for what in GT was supposed to be the "definitive Super Saiyan form"
AlexTenThousand Yeah, I definitely agree with you there. I also hated how Vegeta went SSJ4 by using this machine that Bulma made, ‘cause the real prince Vegeta wouldn’t just throw away his pride to reach a form that Goku attained on his own. At least we got SSJ4 Gogeta out of it, who is *badass.*
The problem is that Vegeta had conquered the Great Ape form all the way back in the Saiyan saga because he was in full control. So it makes no sense for SS4 to be that when someone already had done it.
*+painhellemental 9000* Oh come on, really!. Even then, it is still a Goku recolor, nothing more. So if people are gonna shit at the Blue transformation for being a recolor I can do the same with the Kaioken.
Raging Blast 2 was that good shit for me back in the day I always wanted to try the tenkaichi games but never really did since at the time my ass received a 360 and the ps2 was becoming a thing of the past so when I saw trailers for this raging blast 2 I knew I had to have it and while it may not be as great as the tenkaichi games since to this day I haven’t really tried them idc since I’m grateful for the memories I received from it wether it be by completing every characters story or me and my siblings beating each others asses in multiplayer ohh and this is one of the first/few games I actually 100% completed that’s how addicting it was for me!!.....fuck ultimate tenkaichi though that was a total disappointment and a waste of a title
That's how it would be spelled if Disney wasn't always towering over everyone, breathing mach 5 winds down their necks and staring into their souls without eye contact. They sued a daycare, don't think for a second they wouldn't go after Shonen Jump or Funimation.
Omg I had completely pushed this game out of my memory till now. Being a poor kid was rough... Im sure I nearly 100%'d this piece of garbage out of necessity. God was it bad
You hated Raging Blast but haven't played a Dragonball game since Budokai 3? So you never even tried Raging Blast but still hate it? Either you aren't making sense or you are too stupid to have your own opinions and just go along with other people say.
Did anyone else own a bunch of the DBZ cards as a kid, but have no idea how the fuck to play it? I even had a friend show me back then and I just found it really confusing. Yet I was super into Yu Gi Oh.
I swear only halfway into this video and I have a feeling that a lot of Dragonball fans are going to disagree with most of your picks and your opinion heavily.
I already feel that way when he started trashing on Final Bout. Yes, it was not a good game but I like some of it's mechanics (Meteor strike combos) and fighting Oozaru Baby was one of the best thing that game has to offer.
Final Bout is way overhated. It was the FIRST 3D Dragon Ball game and had things that even more recent games sometimes lack, like beam struggles and tournaments. And Meteor system was unique.
I stopped when he said their wasn't any Super Saiyans in the game which is a lie. There's Super and Super Saiyan forms of Little Goku, Goku, and Trunks. And there's Super forms of Vegeta and Vegetto which showed he was talking out his ass
Dragon Ball Z CCG is the best Dragon Ball game. It has depth like no other game so get your Phantasy Star Online lookin ass out, Texas boy....I hope I got your attention.
...I love how the comment is liked even though I fucked the sentence up with "looking ass" instead of "loving ass". Anyway, you liking the comment made my day.
Hey Austin. I love the video! I did notice a few misconceptions though. Battle of Z and Zenkai Battle/Royale are two completely separate games by two different devs. Zenkai Battle plays more like J-Stars, while BoZ was a (terrible) tactile battle game. Also, Zenkai Battle Royale was the original title, and received an update in 2015 to the current title of Zenkai Battle. Thanks for the awesome content!
24:40: No, they didn't. If Spike Chunsoft really tried their best they would have created a new game from the ground up with the Kinect's control scheme in mind. They didn't do that. DBZ for Kinect is just an incomplete port of Ultimate Tenkaichi with a first-person POV and a control scheme that wasn't intended for it.
SSJ4 was probably the best thing that ever happened since DBZ ended. Ultra Instinct? Super Saiyan Blue? SUper Saiyan God? All just recolors! SSJ4 was original, it was also throwing Goku back to his Roots, the Saiyans original Source of Power, his tail and the Oozaru transformation, And it was god damn cool! People can say to me what they want about GT, but SSJ4 Goku is an awesome design, ties nicely to the Saiyans Origins and it was just badass! Aaaaand no, Final Bout is NOT worse than UB22, NOT EVEN CLOSE! It is bad, but not horrible bad!
@@hypenerd6062 not saying UI was bad, it was just unoriginal and from the looks it was just Base Goku with grey eyes and SLIGHTLY spiker hair. And Mastered version the same, just with white hair. GT Designs in general I prefer over most things from Super. every being on their space Journey looked unique, some more, some less, but still. Baby had a interesting Design. You can say he was Prototype Goku Black, just called Vegeta Black. He was Baby inside Vegetas Body, like Zamasu being inside Gokus body (just how they got into said bodys was different), and much like Goku Black, Baby Vegeta, at first, looked just like Vegeta (just with some marks on eyes and face, and white hair), but the more he made this body his own, the more different it looked, until it had a completely unique design that not even resembling Vegeta anymore. Unlike Goku Black, who looked like from beginning to end =/ And Babys Design and his evolution was also good and interesting. Same for the Shadow Dragons, each look different (Well except Nova and Ice of course), have different Characters and even while some of them where just throwaway villains of the week, they were still interesting and what they can do and what personality they have. I say only Super 17 was kinda meh, but I can't say I hate him. Compare this with 90% of the Super Cast, and you will see that most of them are plain and boring looking, or just ripoffs of other Characters. Cabba is looking like Tarble, Vegetas Brother, with a different face. Forst is pretty much Freezer 2.0 but without his awesome personality, Botamo is discount Winnieh the Pooh and Magetta is actually nice! His Design and his Abilitys are quite nice, and he reminds me of some Chrono Trigger Designs, which is always good! But they did not much with him, tough what they did I liked. Hit looks kinda plain and simple, but for him that works, since that is his whole schtick. He is a assassin, hired to murder, he is not supposed to look fancy and unique, he is supposed to look plain and simple to blend in and not draw needless attention. So he gets a pass! ALso he was one of the more interesting characters, and especially since he is an assassin, his mysterious Character and Abilitys are deserved and it actually compliments him that we don't know too much about him. Sadly, he got ruined in STUPID Filler Episode, when Goku hired him to kill Goku himself, and they kinda nerfed his whole ability and stuff. The Universal tournament just put the nail in the coffin for him. Awesome Character, terribly wasted. Caulifla and Kale are also just boring designs. Especially Caulifla, who looks just like Buff Trunks Hair put on Little Girl with the WORST possible Personality you could have given to her. Kale is even worse. I like her base design, still way too small for my taste (I mean, for being Saiyans, even if it is alternate universe ones, they look NOTHING like Saiyans at all!), but overall not as plain and boring as caulifla, but then she goes Berserk and it is female Broly... LITERALLY BROLY WITH TITS! I facepalmed so hard at this. And let us not talk about the fusion. some Nice scenes, but that was it. The Manga handled at least Kale a little better, showing that in terms of skill, she is actually not behind the other warriors, and in fact, might even surpass them, especially in speed. Also her Character and transformation made more sense in the context of the manga. And no, I won't get into the pride troopers... and certainly not Jiren.
@@NeroDeAngelo dont get me wrong ssj4 looks far better than the forms in super but by super standards ultra instinct sign is probably most unique looking
i think frieza said it best, Super Saiyan with blue hair dye lol it really is just lazy, GT may have been not all that good but some designs we're epic. and Ss4 is exactly that.
DBZ Budokai 1 was one of my favorite games growing up. I loved the story, and to this day I still think it should have ended at Cell. While I didn't care too much for the gameplay, I did like the skill customization. And briefly stunning your opponent by transforming in front of them never got old.
Omg Taiketsu, that game almost broke me as a kid. It was the first time I really understood that companies would actually put out garbage products to make a quick buck
stop talking shit I just think it’s too cluttered, as someone who sees simplicity as VERY important for a design. Throwing too much onto a design hurts the eyes, and makes it hard to appreciate. Doing more with less is what I love. It’s why I love original Super Saiyan and God so much.
Stephen Carter Compare it to Super Saiyan for a second. All it did was make his hair spikier and turn his hair gold, and give his eyes a new tint. That was it. It was simple and appealing. SSJ4 has their hair grow, change into some random color (why is Vegeta’s hair brown? WHY IS GOGETA’S RED?!), coat their body in red fur, obviously they have their tail change too, they get this weird eye outline, their eyes turn orange, their shirt is popped off...that’s way more detail than we need. It’s CLUTTERED.
Xavier Paris SSJ4 is a bit big in terms of design, but it is NOWHERE near cluttered. Literally the only major changes are long hair, red fur, eyes, tail. It’s a callback to what the Saiyans *were*. Humans with monkey attributes (tails, oozaru, etc.) not godlike beings who can destroy planets like it’s a LEGO set.
Battle of Z wasn't based on Zenkai, they just wanted to incorporate a team play element. Battle of Z wasn't even a port of anything. What the hell are you on about? Zenkai is derived from the Tenkaichi/Gundam VS series. Battle of Z wasn't at all trying to be Gundam Vs. or even Zenkai. It had more of a moba-like feel where you take on specific roles and play to a team. It was all in all crushed by horrific character balance though. Broly one swiping everyone lmao. I actually feel like because of the development time surrounding Zenkai that whole Ultimate Tenkaichi thing happened. Yo,I didn't even notice what you said, Zenkai Battle Royale was the first itteration of Zenkai Battle. It came out in 2011, it was a 4 player free for all game that had an event for a 2 v 2 game mode which became the most played mode in the game. Eventually leading to the team adding mechanics specifically for the 2 v 2 experience in 2015 when they renamed it to Zenkai Battle. Please get correct information.
Oh no! That little misinformation about a Japanese game none of us will ever play affects his opinion or points about Battle of Z. Internet probably fucked that up lol and dude battle of Z is literally Gundam VS but not as good so I don't know what you're talking about in that regard. Battle of Z feeling like a moba??? Have you ever played a moba? Yikes. It's about as far away from a moba as you could possibly be. If youre talking about a multiplayer BRAWLER, I can agree. Does Battle of Z have minions and lanes and pushing and tower and all that jazz? No you go in an arena and fight, like what?
@@RekashalGames MOBA is an acronym for Multiplayer Online Battle Arena.... Minions are not a necessity for the genre. The arche-type is team play by META, in BoZ you have Melee, ranged, and support type characters and the game tells you as such, It's a MOBA. There's not a single mechanic in BoZ that translates to or from Gundam VS. Gundam Vs you are constantly pulled to the ground and must use boosting and hopping to move your character you have 5 melee attacks rainbow steps, shot cancelling, etc I could go on. Battle of Z was not trying to be Gundam and its silly to think that it was with the way it pushes you to play. You can see the clear difference when you compare Zenkai to Gundam VS how you can pick from the elements. Zenkai and Gundam VS both force the player in the air to the ground. The only difference is Zenkai stops the player from decending if an input is being read. BOZ however does none of this. In BoZ you can target your teammate to feed them energy so they don't get tired, and put at a major disadvantage, In BOZ you get a reward for simply meleeing the same person that your team mate is hitting, and you have Chase follow ups, that reward the team for responding to them by giving them a larger Ki pool. I could go on. Case and point is. Not every game with a Lock-On and a behind the back camera is trying to be Gundam Vs jfc. and a Multiplayer Brawler is Anarchy Reigns, that game does not force roles onto characters and gives you large stages to fight in. Also no one said a damn thing about his opinion on BoZ the fact that he still provided incorrect information on Zenkai Battle isn't changed by his damn opinion.
GT saying it's a cult hit is probably because, like every other Dragon Ball thing, it was really popular in Latin America. You know, despite it being absolute trash
funny thing I watched Gt Dubbed with a dubbed translation of the Japanese opening on dvd and wondered why did america decide tio go with Goku gangsta rap
Man Budokai was fine for what it was. I loved re living the story in the campaign. But it definitely got perfected in the sequels (3 especially) Conversely I didn't care for the 3D space and copy paste characters in Tenkaichi Underrated is Burst Limit. A spiritual successor to Budokai 3 IMO. Just lacking on the character content.
Did you just say that GT was cancelled? It got an actual ending. It was a shit show of an anime with only a handful of good ideas such as how cool Super Saiyan 4 looked, the idea of a villainous Tuffle wanting revenge for what the Saiyans did to his planet (though, Baby was just evil for the sake of being evil), and the idea that overusing the Dragon Balls could lead to disastrous results. Also, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 had something like... over 300 playable characters. Granted, a good chunk of them were just different forms and alternate versions of other characters but it still had a butt load of characters that reached over 100, at the very least, if you don't want to count the transformations and alternate versions of other characters. Also, I feel that if Webfoot got the chance to make another fighting game or beat 'em up, they could have pulled a Legacy of Goku and made something pretty alright with the sequels. I mean, Legacy of Goku was so shitty that you wouldn't imagine that they would ever make a sequel... but they did. And it was pretty good, as you're already well aware. So, personally, despite Dragon Ball Z: Taiketsu and Dragon Ball GT: Transformation being absolute shit shows, I would have liked to see sequels to them and see how they could improve since... well... there's no way the sequels could end up being worse. Right?
@@hereticX67 There wasn't really a point to any other of the forms either. It should've just stayed at SSJ, but since GT was a new thing back then I guess they wanted to add something different. The design looks fine off the bat but from other conversations I had, the color choices don't seem to make sense but honestly I'm not sure what other colors the fur would work with. I imagine brown fur looking weird with black hair, the only one to pull that off was SSJ4 gogeta since the colors of the fur and hair were switched.
i was with you until you mentioned dragonball gt transformations. Hell no that game was my childhood and so much fun and challenging. heck i still play it to this day
Y-Ou listen here Austin, Dragon Ball Trading Card game saved my life when my evil step-grandmother made sure it was hell, whenever I felt bad, i would always listen to the same theme played over and over again and i'd be immediately calm!!!!1!!!!
wow wow wow let's get this clear, Raging Blast is a GREAT GAME! It didn't have as many chars as tenkaichi but if you think the combat is worst than tenkaichi you are crazy! XD
A little disappointed you're skipping Ultimate Tenkaichi. It plays really different from Raging Blast, Budokai, and Budokai Tenkaichi. It's the most disappointed I've ever been with a Dragon Ball game, and it's so awful. I guess in a way, it's better this way, cause it means you don't have to subject yourself to that nightmare of a game.
2:55 hold your horses. Ssj4 is straight up one of the best looking transformations in the entire franchise. If you want to see a bad design for a ssj form, look at ssj blue
No. The only good part of SSJ4 was when SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta fused into SSJ4 Gogeta, and SSGSS Vegito is overpowered, but that's what you get when the 2 strongest warriors in the series fuse together. And you call yourself an "enthusiast", of Dragon Ball Z? No way. You're no enthusiast. You seem like a snob or a troll to me. Can't you just accept that people out there like SSJ4, hate SSJ4, like SSGSS, and hate SSGSS Blue, and their fusions?
@@dbzenthusiast8152 But I do want to say sorry about the whole saying you're NOT an enthusiast thing a few minutes ago. I think I just let my own love of the entire DB series blind me there for a minute. But I genuinely don't hate the SS Blue Super Saiyan designs. And while i love the entire franchise, it's not 100% perfect, but it is pretty close. I mean, I grew up with it when it was syndicated on Toonami in 2004, when I was only 10 or 11 at the time(I'm 28 now),it was great. And I did have a like/hate relationship with GT for a while, because of how it tried to repeat actual arcs from DBZ, instead of being it's own thing; but when it got cancelled, after only 64 episodes, I began thinking, maybe GT was unfairly criticized. But the villains did have good backstories. Like Baby wanting revenge against the Saiyans because they eradicated the Tuffles and their planet, so they combined the Red Ribbon Army's revenge against Goku, and added another layer to it, by having Baby win by literally controlling the entire planet. Scary stuff. I mean; Baby was consumed by his own hatred for the Saiyan Race. But that arc did have Hercule and Majin Buu trying to help save the earth, and Goku having to fight all alone, which was hard to see, seeing Goten, Gohan, Trunks, all kicking the crap out of Goku, was hard to watch. But after thinking about it and seeing the best GT villains make their way into Dragon Ball FighterZ(Baby Vegeta, Super 17, Omega Shenron), yeah, I mean I did like their characters, even if they do seem like repeats of other DB or DBZ villains, those 3 are some of the best villains Dragon Ball has had, because Baby Vegeta actually mind controlled the entire planet, and destroyed it, Omega Shenron beat everybody and made Goku and the others realize that they relied WAY too heavily on the Dragon Balls, and needed to solve their own problems, without them, and Super 17 was just the conclusion to the Red Ribbon Army stuff, from the original Dragon Ball. And again, sorry if I crossed a line or touched a nerve by saying you're not an enthusiast or anything like that. I mean, I genuinely do like the designs of all the SSJ versions of Goku and Vegeta, I just wish Trunks or Gohan had one, you know? And I definitely wish that Trunks would've gotten his sword repaired too... I mean, Tapion gave him that sword because he reminded him of his brother, and Trunks cut down Mecha Frieza, King Cold, and the last remnants of Frieza's Army with that sword. And, I mean, Future Trunks and Gohan are 2 of my favorite DBZ characters, so you know, a little SSJ4 or SSGSS designs for them would've been nice too...
Tbh I feel like Xenoverse 2 should be in here. While there are good things about it, there are things wrong with it. The AI are just retarded enemy or teammate, the NET code is pretty bad (Which makes the pvp annoying), some DLCs suck (like Music Pack 1), lack of new customization for your avatar, the lip-sync in cutscenes(not in-game) are too cringy to see, and etc.
2:52 Imo, ssj4 was one of the best transformations, looked cool and had a awesome transformation (hell, even enjoyed gt) far better than super and how there were 7 forms that only changed color/aura and just come out of nowhere honestly
Did you just say that SSJ4 design was... bad? I don't know if you have that opinion yourself or if you just drank the kool-aid as a kid and went on the hate bandwagon of GT for the heck of it. I personally am not fond of GT, but even I know that SSJ4 Goku is pretty much the best transformation aside from SSJ3 Goku.
