If a driver wanted to turn right after that traffic island and if they hadn't noticed you alongside them then you'd be flying into the oncoming traffic head on. If a car driver overtook YOU at a pinch point you would be kicking and screaming blue murder at them! Traffic islands are placed so as to discourage overtaking manoeuvres and not encourage them. You are placing yourself in danger of being knocked off. You pulled out on a car in the first clip so how about a car pulls out in front of you as you are overtaking something else at a junction? You need to think about improving your own riding.
