I did not add engine oil when I reinstalled my fuel injector rails and it took a lot of effort which broken two of the o-rings causing air / fuel leaks. Thanks for that tip!

Excellent video! Clear and to the point! I've been chasing down a high idle on my car and discovered spraying carb cleaner at a couple of my injectors causes the idle to drop. I assume the o-rings are bad and causing a vacuum leak. I also noticed my car has trouble starting when warm and this might be why... the fuel pressure might be bleeding off when it's sitting. Thanks - had this problem on my 07 Kia with 200K kms - symptoms were random misfires on cold starts over winter (due to lean condition) and gas smell after parking in a garage in summer (due to escaping fuel vapours) - I diagnosed the vacuum leaks on the engine-side o-rings by spraying carb cleaner on the injectors while running the engine and listening for rpm change - when I pulled the injectors the engine-side o-rings were brittle and tore on removal while the fuel rail side o-rings were still pliable - heat was clearly a factor - to add, you can check for fuel pressure drop using a gauge to tell if the fuel rail side o-rings are leaking - engine should hold fuel pressure for min 5 mins after switching off

Good video! I have a question about the MAP sensor on my 04 Cavalier. I was told if it's weak it will cause the idle speed to be affected causing low idle bad gas mileage and not shifting properly is that true? I've already cleaned the throttle body. The car has over two hundred thousand miles on it. Any help would be great

I’ve been fighting for weeks replacing everything in my fuel system on my Skyline R32, changed fuel pump, in-line filter, even the fuel pressure regulator, turns out it’s leaking fuel from one of the injectors, car kept dropping fuel pressure at idle and finally found culprit
is it safe to use ATP Automotive AT-205 Re-Seal Stops Leaks on new o-rings prior to putting them on. I have used AT205 to replenish old rubber before. Not o-rings but other types of rubber.
Bro, I need a little help here. I replaced drive shafts for a 2014 corolla today, and afterwards the gear hits really hard when I select to drive or reverse, and later on the the transmission isn't changing at all . What could be the case please ? Really need your help
Make sure the axle is pushed all the way in the transmission and also check transmission fluid. Transmission fluid can leak out when changing the axle.
