Most people put too much emphasis on the materials and the dental implants used for full mouth dental implant treatment.
The design and the the planning are far more important but these are very difficult to quantify and very difficult to compare from clinic to clinic.
I wanted to show you a few cases that were done elsewhere, they have lasted a long time, but there are areas where the design could have dramatically been improved.
Bad design does not cause an immediate problem, it causes more low grade, long term issues, and this is what causes long term dental implant failure.

As of this month September 2024, it is exactly two years since I got my first surgery to start my full mouth 4 and 1 implant procedure. I’m finally getting my final set on Monday. I did not have any complications along the way. Be aware that promised times are never close, you’ll probably have at least three surgeries, and a cost of $80,000. Oh, and my temporary set which I’ve had to wear for nearly five months (all resin) the top denture broke at the last two molars, and the opposite side top is cracked and ready to fail! Wow this has been fun.

Oh man, 2 years is longer than most people, but depending on what you had done, it's possible. I'm glad you're coming to the end of this phase of your journey!

For anyone that is getting all on X please watch Dr Gurs vídeos, I've been a dental technical for many years and have seen the good the bad and the very ugly, I can tell that Dr Gurs really cares about his patients, although sometimes there's only so much that we can do as workers in the dental field, one good thing to remember is that this procedure CAN NOT be rush and function is better than esthetics. Thank you Dr Gurs.

Do you/can you put the rods where the wisdom and the eye teeth were? How does implants affect cognitive intuition spiritual gifts etc how does losing these teeth affect cognition .? Front teeth connected to frontal lobe isn't it risky pulling them to do 4 on 1 when I could keep the 2 fronts ? all else top is gone nearly.

Can the implants get infested with bacteria like root canals do? Is there a corelation between dental bacteria and cardiovascular disease?

Kind of... When the rough surface of a dental implant gets bacteria on it, it's only a matter of time until you lose the implant. It becomes impossible to clean. There is a link between gum disease and heart disease, but I'm not sure if it's always the same bacteria that cause peri-implantitis. It is likely that there is overlap between the conditions.
