In the beginning he specifically said what he considered a port for this video. Rewatch. But either way it still sort of irks me that he's using it this way... Should have thought up a better suited name for this video.. honestly.. but it still was entertaining overall I think. 🤷
It's actually Grunty still being alive and in the flesh in Banjo Pilot that marks it as being before Tooie, emphasis on "flesh" as opposed to being a skeletal revenant.
Mario Party Advance isn't that bad and you're not always playing alone. There's still certain minigames and modes that let you play with other players.
Seeing Connor being a idiot infuriates me so hard that he makes me assume that he will surpass IGN of being the dumbest person ever. Except Connor is still cool.
i remember back on the 90's how we would carry around our gameboy pockets everywhere like we do with cell phones now...i miss the 90's and it's low quality tech. lol

Conker originally came out on the Game Boy Color in the family-friendly "Conker's Pocket Tales" in 1999, then had his M-Rated "Conker's Bad Fur Day" two years later. (The game was originally going to be the more family-friendly "Twelve Tales: Conker 64", but the game was cancelled and retooled into Bad Fur Day when critics accused Rareware of making games for little children.
Bit of an Urban Legend of Zelda on that one: Twelve Tales was retooled because Chris Seavor pitched turning Conker 64 into an M-rated game with a bigger emphasis on cutscenes and affectionate parodies of movies and games. They didn't even cancel it-- a whole crapload of the original maps, assets, and models just got updated textures and/or got repurposed (the dino in the caveman chapter was, for example, originally one of Berri's four customizeable-stats pets, IIRC).
There was also that scrapped RE2 port for GBA. Except that looked great, though we've seen nothing except for early gameplay footage. Had it come out, it would have pushed the GBA to it's limits.
Oh come on, that prototype of Resident Evil looked totally dope, I could totally see it work! I mean I don't know why the would want a horror title on the GameBoy but the effort was amazing!
When it comes to 1 on 1 fighting games, Killer Instinct on the GB was also a good port. You could still pull off big combos with just to buttons and it was fast.
The thing about Banjo Pilot is that it was originally Diddy Kong Pilot, a sequel to Diddy Kong Racing. The game went through development hell, and Rare was forced to make it the shit that Banjo Pilot is now since they were being bought by Microsoft.
Well sonic on gba never would sound like (Well good) because the gba has a different sound board then the genesis. But slow speed IS a problem in SONIC!
Let's not forget "Mega Man & Bass", which is a Game Boy Advance port of the SNES game "Rockman & Forte". Sure, it may be playable, but it's still ridiculously hard to beat (unless you're a die-hard Mega Man fan who is quite skilled), and the Game Boy Advance version also suffers from screen-crunching. :P

And this is reasons why I would prefer to use a GPD Win 2 because, at the very least with that, not only can I play NES, Super NES, Nintendo 64, PlayStation, Arcade and Sega Genesis games on the go as they are all originally meant to be, but also I can play GameCube, PlayStation 2 and PC games on the go also as they are all originally meant to be as well.
5:19 Actually, a prototype of the game has another engine which is much better, and actually IMPRESSING. It is available online for free. Kinda sad this prototype was scrapped due to "FPS Issues" because that would have made Banjo-Pilot a really impressive GBA game.
Fun fact about Sonic 1 for the GBA... The development team was disallowed from using the original source code and was made to port the game using the Sonic Advance engine. Y'know, an engine that isn't made to handle as many sprites as the average 16-bit Sonic game and was also different physics-wise.
Banjo Pilot just couldn't work on the GBA; it was supposed to have 3D environments (you can find some footage on RU-vid, but I don't know of a playable prototype), but the system couldn't handle the engine being used... so... yeah...
