I just started dipping animal skulls. My 1st attempt with a smaller buck went fairly well. Thanks to your video I learned and was reassured that sometimes a 2nd dip is needed for the bottom half. When I did another skull the purple tape pulled off a large (approximately 1" by 1/2") section on the very top between the antlers. Would you recommend stripping and re dipping or do you have any ideas or tips to repair a defect that large?
Thanks for the tip, I had a rifle dipped at Tarjac years ago. I also had the scope rings bases, you name it, dipped. I was almost thinking about trying to figure out how to clean the scope off. I’m guessing denatured alcohol will take that off.
Hey man I got a couple questions if you have time.. I’m new to it but I’ve gone thru nearly half a roll of film just trying to do a Glock… it either seperates in the water or washes off when i rinse it.. The plastic part of the Glock done decent but the slide is painted and well dried but this is the second time the pattern smears and comes completely off
Halow Hi!! I love all your works since i knew you. Bt i've tryin to purchase the materials in my country, bt no art store have them. How can i get all those hydrodip materials ship in to my country. I'm in Tanzania
As a guy who got frustrated and let shit dry after fucking it up can I follow these same steps to remove film that’s already dried on the item being dipped? i.e. tumbler cups and deer skulls
So there's no way to just like..melt the paint enough so the bubbles deflate? I screwed up the upper receiver of my Echo1 P90, hydro dipped in spray paint
