That lead gutter under the tiles is wrong. There should be lead soakers on each tile and the lead on the wall should only meet at the tile surface. The method of a lead gutter under the tile is just asking for trouble. Poorly designed waterproofing.
The lead should be ontop of the bloody roof, not under the tile, still didnt get it right, thats a flashing not a gutter. Although someone made it a gutter, they were a idiot, dont follow idiots work.
It should also be under too on long racked roofs with Marley moderns , double roman's are different as you got the role the tile to stop water dragging across . Most roofers just put it on Top on general tho
That's exactly what I thought was going on when I first see stonewold tiles against the parapit wall like that without a cover flashing / soakers instead they're using poorly done abutment soaker
No matter what you say, this is totally wrong, the lead isn't wide enough, the corner is also totally wrong, should be a welded corner, with vertical lap to suit exposure, you do not use lead mate as a sealer, & where the leadmate is, the lap on the lead nowhere near enough lap. I could go on but🤷♂️
@@roofingshiteroofing1189 That valley looks to be very narrow as well. Narrow valleys fill up with moss and crap in no time, especially on low pitches. Your channel is top notch Sir, keep up the good work, 👍🔨🎄🇮🇪
