These games are great. One kid tried to ruin it, but I think we showed him real good. Patreon: / harstem My second youtube channel: / @harstemcasts Twitter: / harstemsc2 Twitch: / harstem Instagram : / harstemsc
Son Goku: "Actually, I'm wearing weighted clothing." Dread Pirate Roberts: "Actually, I'm left-handed." Harstem: "Actually, I still have a crapton of chargelots in my base doing nothing."
Petition for Harstem to abandon his challenges every time against BM . Also, I love how you can hear the increase of APM after that gl hf haha. The most satisfying game ever.
exactly what i thought. after he got BM'd, his apm doubled. it was hilarious. i'd LOVE to see the replay so we can see what the average APM was before, and what it was after.
"always cancel stuff at the last moment to trick your opponent that you're slow" I personally cancel just after the last moment, confirming that I'm slow.
2:50 "You guys might be familiar with the name Botwinnik..." Me: "Ah, yes, that one Chess world champion." 2:55 "...As I played him I believe last week" Me: ...
Well hydras do have insane dps, and I don't think they are armoured so the immortals wouldn't have been doing that much damage? to be fair though, if he landed some great storms like he did in the last game, all those hydras would have died too. Just comes down to micro and timing!
Wondering why the zealots are such pacifists, and then immediately upon them agreeing to fight, they are forced to charge into burrowed lurkers. Ah, now I get it.
Those brave pacifists took up arms to fight that war criminal at the end there. Their noble sacrifices shall not be forgotten. That was a great last game to a great video "gl hf" lol
Me when I play SC2: intense games, constantly forgets to build twilight council, super tense Harstam: Critters really enhance the gameplay, it makes the early game boring if there are no critters
I'm imagining Double gateway into double cybercore, followed by double expand quickly saturating 6 gasses to afford double stargate with both air upgrades researching as a weird build that this might cause.
Trolling grandmasters with stupid stuff: every fifth unit must be a sentry. You can only use those sentries for hallucinations. You cannot let them sit on full energ. You cannot have hallucinations with main army.
55:32 is the precise moment where you can hear the Pacifist Zealots start singing We Are The World ~There comes a time when we head a certain call, when the world must come together as one. There are people dying and it's time to lend a hand to life, the greatest gift of all~
By far my favorite of your vids man, literally yelling at my screen cheering you on after the BM, WELL PLAYED. Happy to see you convince the pacifists to fight for your honor!
watching him bait the guy into storm after storm blinking up ledges storming the ramp running with isolated temps and punishing the chase was so frigging fun to watch Harstem is a legit hive mind haha
I would recommend a challenge. The twin challenge - Every unit has to have a twin made at the same time and when one of them dies the twin has to go berserk and just charge the enemy with no regard for self-preservation. Would be really interesting to see I think. :)
May I humbly suggest the The "A Hobbit's Tale: there and back again challenge" Any unit composition, but you must go "there and back again" on the map before using the unit, effectively tripling the crossing-time of the map. This applies to both harass and main-army units. TL;DR, the map length for you is 3x what it is for your opponent. GLHF!
0:45 my mind immediately asks, "on aiur, pacifism is punishable by death.. and those game rules don't specifically state that you can't.. pacify.. your pacifists." i mean, the rules don't technically state that you can't kill them, right? so, just make every 5th unit a zealot, and then kill it. aiur has no room for cowards! that last game was absolutely delicious. after he said gl hf, i could hear the increase in your apm.. i'd love to see the replay so i can see what the average apm was before he said it, and what it went up to after. it sounded like it doubled.
Suggestion: the completionist challenge. You're only allowed to attack the opponent when you have at least one of every unit (and all possible structures). Obviously, defending and taking bases is fine. But you can only try to beat them if you have all units available in your army.
lmfao the raise in AMP when he decide he will END him. I was hoping for an accidental F2 in one of these games where the zealots just show up out of nowhere and wreck gg
Hello Harstem, May you try this strategy with your series beating GM with Stupid stuff. Against Terran: - build army using only units makes splash demage -may build few stalkers and adepts for defend at the begining Against Zerg: - kill his overlords!!! with flying units (don't kill drones) so hard he will leave the game. - eventually can kill hatch, - while attacking can kill units shooting up - defend as you like Against Protos - kill him with scentry and phoenix - build at least 15 scentry Love this series, yr great. Salut. Krequs
new challenge: "I AM THE TERRAN NOW!" Since you have some experience with playing terran as off-race, it's hard to keep track on wich race you are actually playing. The challenge is to play protoss but use typical terran build orders (marine drop, tank push, bc rush) and unit movement just like a typical terran. Here is a suggestion on how your protoss units could be translating to terran: Marine = Zealot Marauder = Stalker Reaper = Adept Ghost = Dark Templar Hellion = Sentry Cyclone = Archon(??) Widow Mine = High Templar (with Storm) Siege Tank = Disruptor // Immortal Thor = Colossus Medivac = Warp Prism Viking = Phoenix Banshee = Void Ray Raven = Oracle Liberator = Tempest Battlecruiser = Carrier Observers are free (like scans) but you are not allowed to build a mothership (terran doesn't have such an op unit ;). Would be fun to see you play some terran openings as closely as possible, with your weird looking futuristic skin. Hope you have fun as well :D
mothership kinda sucks mate wdym such an op unit???? for such a supposedly high-tech unit it doesn't really do much anymore and dies immediately, it's not even a detector :/
actually it really sucks, just tested and literally 4 hydras with no upgrades will kill a mothership. And if mothership is 3/3/3, it only takes 6 hydras. Mothership is trash
@@MrCh0o very possible, I'm just salty cuz it could be such a sick unit, but instead it sucks :( I mean vortex was definitely OP, but there's got to be some way of making it more useful without making every game a rush to mothership
Silly idea: Probes take the drone aproach. Everytime a probe builds a building. It no longer takes part in the game. Just standing there. Getting no commands for there on.
Challenge Idea: Protoss Pilgrimage Every 5 minutes _all_ your army units start their pilgrimage to the enemy main base. They are allowed to defend themselves (including micro of course) but are only allowed to move along a direct path towards the enemies main until they reach it or die. (Additional rule: +-1 minute between the pilgrimages for each loss/win)
Don't care about that comment, it's for personal use, just to quickly remember how I reasonably should switch to PROTOSS 12:50 and 15:18 Harstem's D I S R U P T O R S 30:17 wonderful hatch snipe 49:20 Best moment 52:10 nice move 57:39 wow This was great entertainment!
Harstem, know this, the Mapmakers have been duly informed to add more Critters under penalty of physical punishment So hopefully they will comply, otherwise they will have a hard time sitting down for a while given all the paddling they'll receive Regards dude!
Every probe you make has to remote mine before it can start mining at a base. ie probes built at main have to mine at least once at natural, probes at natural have to mine once at third or any other mineral patch etc.
Challenge Idea: Dark Zealots, build blink dt's wherever you would build chargelots and blink into the enemy head on to replicate their charge. maybe combine it with another challenge also would like to see macro nexuses at some point
so I'm rewatching this cause the last game is just so fun. And that moment at 4:10 when Harstem decides to actually play this game? Pretty sure his APM actually doubled.
Start the Golden Age of SC2 economics with the new and improved *Silk Roads Challenge*: For every base you have, you must have 5 long distance miners once the base is saturated (you may not under saturate bases and all over saturated mineral patches must long distance mine). Long distance probes must mine from an unclaimed expansion. For every win, you must increase the probe counter per base by 1 probe. Long Distance miners must be replaced ASAP once destroyed. If you're feeling confident, try mining from your opponent's unclaimed expansions GL HF GG
I love your content, because' we're all shit. But you're showing us what skill can accomplish. That spamming same build order etc. This shows what ACTUAL skill is. Adaptability etc. This is my favourite series. Shows we can have fun and not be build order robots.
For that tease to work well i feel like it needs some kind of transition, it doesn't need to be anything fancy, just to make that change from tease to the beginning of the video. Nice vídeo btw, love u Harstem!
I don't understand why you weren't allowed to train zealots, just because your 5th unit had to be a protest zealot, the rules didn't say you couldn't have un-protesting zealots.
