This dad is exactly in my position almost in every aspect. Im a single dad, two girls 13 and 8. Mom dipped on us almost 4 years ago and I finally was awarded child support and even full custody!!!! Dads like us who raise our babies alone do exist and women need to realize we deal with dead beat spouses as well!!!
My step-dad was awarded custody of his two boys after their mother left. IN THE 1970s!!! It was unheard of that the father got custody back then. He and my mother raised us (three kids from my mom) and my step-brothers as a blended family unit with no child support from either non-custodial parent. My best friend in high school had a similar situation. Her mother abandoned her because she is slower mentally and has a speech impediment. Her father left the Air Force to raise her on his own until he got re-married. I don't think Mr. A ever got child support because she didn't know where her mother was until 10 years ago.
My brother has married a single mother and they have a kid of their own. Even though she's not at work at the moment, because my niece is too young she is bored to death and doesn't want to deal with the kid much. She doesn't cook often and she doesn't clean at all. My brother is working home office, taking care of the children, he is cooking and cleaning. And she's just bored and playing on her phone and computer all day long. He complains to me sometimes, but I can't do nothing more than to listen and sympathize him
@@Just_a_Lad I don't understand women like this. I had 1 little one & another on the way,I was never bored. I kept house, cooked & played with my daughter.
@@debbieedwards420 You have my respect, it's great that there are still women out there who are okay with the role of a mother and a wife and they like it. Sadly, not all women are ready to be mothers and sometimes people around them suffer because of this. I have also rejected one lady not long ago, simply because she has issues and she's not ready to be a wife and a mother. I don't want someone with issues who is going to affect me and my children. It's irresponsible. All of this applies to men too, if they're not ready to be fathers and husbands then they should not marry and reproduce, not yet at least.
what's sad is how toxic the court system is, dad's are rarely given custody because of the misguided thought that mothers are whats best for the child and yet we hear so many stories of kids starving and/or abused while the father is forbidden to see them while the mom uses the money to pamper herself while she has multiple men coming in and out of the home
They're both crucial to the process. The skill set required to administer medical care is nothing without the necessary equipment and medication, and the equipment and medication means nothing if there's nobody to administer it properly. The thing that makes this woman useless is that she had children she cares nothing about, and I sincerely hope that on her death bed she gets the comfort and support she needs from her party friends because she certainly won't get it from her children.
Yes like my stepdad may he rest in peace made sure I learned Spanish along with English telling my sU back then I'd probably need it for my future career ..

My mother was the same way. She’s passed now and we never really had much of a relationship. I have my own daughter now and I’m not mad about it because I think it really taught me how important and special that bond could be and my worst fear would be to see my baby grow up and not even know her.

As an autistic adult that had a lot of difficulties with multiple things growing up (I was considered on the low end of the spectrum) it breaks my heart to hear her say "It's to much work". If it wasn't for my mom taking the time to teach me, I would be in a horrible place right now. I had a mom like this. I never knew my dad bc she didn't want us but she sure as hell wasn't going to let someone else legally take us because then she'd have to pay for us... But I had godparents that watched over me and took me in when my mom got too bad. They never took a dime from her and really helped her more than she deserved. It was hard as a child - especially bc she was quite vocal about how she felt - but it made me VERY aware of how much more my own children deserved...
