Nigeria can easily afford to pay Renard or any top coach. The NFF and sports Minister should be creative. The NFF has to think out of the box and do the Needful to hire a top class coach. In Nigeria individuals own oil wells. Nigerian Petroleum is the Commonwealth of all Nigerians. All the government has to do is mandate 4 of these very wealthy oil well individuals to pay the salary of the Super Eagles Coach. It’s not rocket science. Nigeria has the money to pay almost any coach in the world. My humble opinion
Nigeria has paid that kind of money in the past. We have private companies that can sponsor the World Cup bid. Glo Telecommunications did it in the past. The problem is NFF corruption. Nevertheless, I don't think we need a foreign coach. The NFF should never have employed Finidi. Amunike was more qualified. Amaju Pinnick, the former NFF president, used his influence to get Finidi the job. Now, he has spoiled the opportunity for local coaches. Nigeria's problem is never money. There are private individuals in Nigeria that can sponsor the entire Super Eagles.
Facts in Ghana its government that pays the coach of the senior men team. I think same applies to Nigeria and that case it shouldn’t be a problem but same coach is being sorted after and that’s a challenge
