Something I've loved about your videos throughout the pandemic is that you've taken it so seriously and have normalized the boring days and frustration with cancelled plans. At the same time, your general positivity makes me excited to have a night at home like yours, baking or watching a show or cuddling with my dog! You've been the one real picture of responsible covid in my media, and it literally has helped me normalize my own experiences sooo much ❤️❤️ thank you!! i’m so sorry about max but glad to hear he isn’t experiencing any harsh symptoms. this is like the absolute worst timing for him to have it too especially bc it’s during holiday time. i can’t imagine how you’re feeling not being able to see him. i admire your ability to look past difficult situations and see the positive 💓

Unfortunate your plans changed but glad Max’s is well! Also, I like to wear a mask when it’s rly cold out since it helps keep my face warm, any type usually helps a bit!

So sorry that you aren't being able to be with Max. I kept refreshing your page for a new vlog and was getting concerned that he starting having symptoms! SO glad he isn't. Thank you for being a role model in how to handle disappointing situations. This is what I needed yesterday when I had a bad day and ate so much popcorn and too much wine! Yes, the headache in the middle of the night wasn't good, but I totally turned it around today and even tried one of Sami Clarke's workouts. I liked it and was wondering if you subscribe to her form website/App? Didn't look into it, because I pay gym fees, even thought I'm not going, so I really don't want to pay for someone's App/program. Would love to hear more about it. Oh no Gretchen, I'm so sorry to hear about Max. I'm in the same situation -- my boyfriend is double vaccinated but got Covid and is quarantined in the guest bedroom. You are not alone, Covid is ruining everyone's plans :((((

Yes! I love granola on oatmeal! Another good thing in oatmeal or yogurt is pomegranate seeds. I get them frozen from Sprouts.

One thing my mom and I agree on is that everyone (myself included) has had some sort of disappointment of something cancelled due to COVID at one point or another…some of mine have been easier than others (my worst lament was being unable to attend my cousin’s HS graduation ceremony as I had hoped (June 2020)) and I am hoping for this nightmare to end…I have out of state family I’m itching to enjoy the company of for reasons besides a funeral (post-COVID) and plus I’m struggling to find a peer group (and was struggling with that even before COVID)…

max is a great addition to ur videos but i still love your vlogs just as much! not boring @ all, your vlogs are like being on ft w a friend and i love them so much. always have them playing while getting ready. love you so so much gretchen! hope your holidays are still great (: & praying for max to stay asymptomatic! also, ik you’ll miss your dad even more come christmas, but one thing i’ve noticed when you’re w family is how loving and close you all are, and i bet your dad will b right there with you all. love you the most!

Covid Sucks lol . Honestly all 3 of my dogs are wild including my 4 month old Golden Retriever but they behave in public but at home fight play & etc what dogs do lol

I have a Golden retriever that loves gloves too! I bought him welding gloves on Amazon to play "glove hand"! He now knows that he can only play with those gloves! You can't feel the teeth as much in them and they go up the forearm!

The NHL has an incredibly high vaccination rate. Almost all players are vaccinated. Breakthrough cases still happen though.
