Personally when they and other stores increased their prices I reduced my purchases. It was fun to buy random stuff for a dollar. But do I really need it? No. So I stopped buying seasonal decor, random craft supplies, cosmetics and so on. I only go in maybe three times a year now. Generally for reading glasses and organization supplies. That's it Dollar Tree. No more random purchases for me!!! Greedy, greedy.

I love that the little boots come with a lid because it prevents someone from spiking your drink if you use it as a shot glass! Also I’m worried DT is gonna be like Five Below where it starts with the cheapest thing being $1 and the most expensive item in store is $5, but then all of sudden the prices go up and most expensive item changes from $5 to now being $30.

I am a painter. I use makeup brushes as blending brushes in my paintings. The makeup brushes work just as good as the painting blending brushes that are sold in craft stores.

BTW the glasses are cute, BUT notice they say "novelty" glasses on the sticker. If there was no sticker showing UV rating (didn't see one), then those are not sunglasses and can actually damage your eyes if worn out in the sun. For just a cute indoor 'look' they would be fine.

The plant trolleys are great for laundry baskets at the bottom of a big pantry. You can store water bottles in them or bulk food items & easily move them around. The planters with handles are also great for the deck or front porch. They are also great drink buckets for the deck.

I agree, my kids have never had Pinterest mom! I have stayed up very late turning a child’s cowboy hat into a hat that President Washington would have worn. A little needle and threat and one of my black dresses. I finished my daughter’s dog or rabbit (can’t remember which it was) faux fur Valentines box. It’s a shame that one kid said it looked like she had killed her dog to get the fur! Kids are cruel!

I went to DT the other day, got a few St Patrick's decorations. Those boxes with the handles, could use one as a first aid kit, put your bandages, tape, etc inside and have it all in one place for an emergency.

@robinlasobeck821 I'm not sure if you were asking me , we bought two glass bowls to use as the base and glued (E 6000 makes it a permenent bond) larger plates (with a lip) on top all from DT cost 5.00 plus tax , if you do this please do not use plastic it is bad for kitties and puppies and won't last as long as glass !

Wow, can’t believe they are raising prices again. Still getting deals and will still shop there though. I cleaned out 2 Dollar Trees of the Collagen eye cream and eye serum and the cleanser. They also had the same stuff in the tube but in a jar. They work great with my Gua Sha, and red light therapy wand. I also got Hydraluronic wipes to take off my makeup. Oh and the primer in the pink tube. My 63yr old face thanks you Vivian.

That's a great deal on the suet bird feeder! Suet is really cheap (avg $1) and available at most stores. Helps the birds get through the winter too. :)

I haven't been able to find suet for a dollar in quite awhile Walmart is almost 2 dollars where I live in KY. The Litt cage to put the suet in is a great price I paid 3.59 plus tax for mine now even higher . I love feeding the birds .

I use the suet cages on wreaths to hold wet or dry foam. Zip tie them on then you can remove the cages and reuse the wreath(grapevine). I also use the cages as a grid for fresh flowers in larger vases or medium tabletop urns. They act like frogs, holding larger woodier stems and branches.

The only reason people went to Dollar Tree was cause things were $1. That was the whole point. Every price increase kills the ONLY value it had as a store that made it what it is. This will be what causes them to lose a lot of people and their money. They need to stop being greedy. Their plus section is more than enough. No need to raise the price of everything else. Especially since the quality is still not good for their stuff. That and other store have filled in thr void DT left, and are selling a lot of things for just a $1. And some of it is a lot better than DT stuff as well.

Has nearly all the calls. Pro-tip: if you play bird calls (w/in the app) on top volume from your phone "they will come" lol esp cardinals. 😉

I live in Ohio, and we have a lot of downy woodpeckers here. They often visit my suet feeder. They damaged the wood under my patio cover a few years ago, but it had nothing to do with my suet feeder. The woodpeckers were after the carpenter bees and their larvae that had been tunneling in the patio cover. So, technically, the bees damaged the wood first.

I use the fake, mini Caboodle to store baby wet wipes that I keep in bathroom for adults butt wipes. It’s small & sits discreetly on top of toilet. It’s easy to access & looks better than a pack of butt wipes just chilling. Plus the extra protection helps keep them from drying out. It’s crazy how a pack of a name brand wipes with a near same amount & with good lid that snaps closed cost $1.25 & Walgreens is $7 for store brand. Even Family Dollar is about $3 for store brand

I would get the boots for a kids St.Patricks day gifts for classmates. Just fill the little candy and maybe the straw you were using. Also wrap them basket or clear bags with a bow or some sort of decorative tie.😊❤

I have a hummingbird shimmer year round❤ I had to turn the food warmer on this week...we froze, got snow....and those babies camped out on my deck light wires ❤ Definitely feed the hummingbirds!!!❤

I have read many times that if you live in an area that turns cold in the winter that you need to bring in your hummingbird feeders before the first cold snap. As long as feeders are out they will stay. They are delicate and cannot withstand cold weather. The lack of food, such as blooming flowers is their sign to migrate.

Balloons/Sunglasses/Readers/Bread $1.50. The Coke in a 1 liter bottle $1.75. Russel Stover Valentine box $5.00 and Russel Stover bunnies $3.00. They will be sprinkling $3 and $5 items throughout the store not just in the plus section. They are even going to add $10 items. Eventually all DT stores will be turned into FD/DT stores.

They sell cute TWO pack of makeup bags that are 2 different sizes & match. You can’t beat that for $1.25 I used to hate paying $5+ for small purse & makeup bags at Forever 21 & H&M. The should have been under $3. I knew it was a ripoff at that price especially when some clothing pieces cost nearly the same. I was happy a few years ago as the DT started carrying quality makeup bags w many styles, patterns, sizes & material. I’ve never had any issues & there is so much variety.

I use a new suet cake holder for nesting material for the birds in my area. I love watching birds pluck nesting material from it❤️🐦🐤. Love your videos. 👩🏻‍🦱💌📬

LOL, the 'bird cage' is a suet holder, lot's of uses. Spray the garden items with a paint or other UV protector, they still last a few years.

Those boots are channeling the German boot mugs that are a gag used for first time travelers to Germany. The trick is the glass boot mug is filled with beer & handed to the newbie with the toe side away from the person. As they drink, once the level of beer gets down to to a certain point, the beer in the toe gets an air bubble and the beer lets loose so that the target person gets drenched with the remaining beer. Then all (including the bar maids) get a big laugh.

I love those hanging pots I use them on my porch they are great for hanging over the edge of the porch so if you get different types of Petunias or flowers that like to Vine those are really fun to use I'm going to try my morning glories in them this year
